That is for the pre-show events. Not sure what they do there. If I remember correctly the VGA's are at 8 eastern standard time on Spike TV.

On the other hand, why would you want to start marketing a new game by fooling people into thinking it's going to be something else - something they love and have been waiting for? Getting people excited about a new IP by disappointing them doesn't sound like a good idea.

It could always be both. Frankly, I don't understand why you'd create this fake mystery around a game that everybody already knows is coming, plus I honestly still don't see why people are excited about this possibly being the ME3 announcement. Unless this comes with some serious, tangible info like a solid release date and actual gameplay footage, what is there to get excited about? Do you guys get excited when someone tells you it's going to be Christmas on December 24th again?
