Bioware didnt specify which holiday.

Holidays are usually referring to Christmas. So December. That's when ME2 was slated for release before it got pushed back to January.

There are no holidays in the summer, at least in North America. So there shouldn't be any confusion as to which holiday it is since there is only one holiday season within the year.

I didn't read any announcement for PC version of ME3, only PS3 and XBox. This is just, because it is totally obvious, that it'll be released for PC as well, right?

It always was and always will be released first on XBox & PC (both of them on the same day).

So judging by the trailer the game takes place on Earth.
Does this mean we cannot go to other planets anymore?

I do hope we can still explore the galaxy in the normandy and Earth is another hub like Illium in ME2.

if the entire game is set on Earth it would be very linear which is something not many people like

I imagin the final battle taking place on Earth, but everything leading up to that will be Shepherd scouring the galaxy for allies.

Maybe we will be figting on 2 fronts: On earth playing as the unnamed british soldier, and then in space as Shepard

comparing the first trailers for me1 and me2 leads to the conclusion that the purpose of a trailer is to feed the crowd and not to reveal the whole story of the game.

however, bioware hooked me by that very cool trailer.

I've been messing with that recent VGA teaser to figure out the creature that sniper had taken down. My bets are on husk.

Earth is still separated into nations such as the United North American States, The European Union and the Chinese Federation. They each have their respective capitals. The capital of the System's Alliance is Arcturas Station.
