Vic (as its obviously him) In that teaser trailer, may not have anything to do with the teaser itself. That teaser was made by Spike right? That segment could just be a teaser from Spike that an announcement regarding new vegas will also happen at thier show on December 11th, Probably NV DLC



Its a teaser, but its not related to Biowares.



I think Upsettingshorts still has it nailed down.

Umm... The trailer outright states it's from Bioware. Remember the bit where they talked about the maker of Mass Effect and Dragon Age?

Hi. I check this forum every week or so just to look for announcements regarding DLC. I don't feel like trapsing through the thread, but could somebody post a link to this trailer that you're all talking about?



It doesn't look like an Incisor sniper rifle in the screenshot to me. The incisor is blue.

While first instincts said to me. Not mass effect. That really does look like the incisor sniper.



We can also currently spell from the clues: MASS EFF FE from iron and F being farhenheit. -128.5 occurs at a place which has the name of somewhere in the ME universe. Maybe we'll get another 3rd clue to give another E and a C and a T. And having been given 3 clues: MASS EFFECT 3. Or just a new game

though the incisor sniper rifle is a new model, it'd have to be a similar but earlier prototype for it to make sense as a prequel.

Isnt it enough that we have ME3 to look forward to and anticipate? I dont want to know about some other game when the most important story is upcoming. Unless of course this is a teaser for ME3?

I think i COULD be a prequel, but then what about the Incisor look alike. Also, why would they announce OR even start working on a prequel without ME3 completed first.



I think it is just an entirely new game, new story, new hero etc. Maybe the Incisor look alike is just thrown in there to make a reference to the fans of ME, similar to how the DA armor was thrown in ME2 for the DA fans OR how some people in DA make subtle references to ME every now and then.

ME is not an FPS and cannot be considered "military genre" per se.



Also the Aequitas suggestion does fit with the clues we have been given SO FAR, but why would they base an entire game on an 10 minute ME2 side mission where you are stuck on Aequitas? I understand that this is me just purely speculating that you would be stuck there etc. but I doubt the obscure clues we have would be intended to point to a random planet with an N7 side mission, right?

I agree, Crash. These spin-offs and prequels can wait until after the original trilogy has come to an end, which it hasn't just yet.

I agree, Crash. These spin-offs and prequels can wait until after the original trilogy has come to an end, which it hasn't just yet.

An announcement like would probably mean this game is years from being done. Me3 would be out and played to death before this game hit the shelves.
