Or maybe it's Zaeed's long lost brother, played by Vinnie Jones!ModestmeNTaLmogul wrote...
It does look like young Zaeed or Shepard's father...Steve236 wrote...

Maybe they are gonna pull a Blizzard and try to link the stories of Mass Effect and DragonAge together. Like DragonAge is Earth's distant past, Mass Effect is in the galaxy's future, so this new game will be Earth's future? Sounds highly unlikely but the DragonAge references in this thread reminded of how Warcraft and Starcraft are linked together in the same universe just in different timelines (at least I think they are, maybe I read it all wrong, read it a really long time ago way before there ever was a WoW... the good ol' days.)

Mass Effect takes place in OUR universe though. It doesn't even take place that far in the future. Dragon Age is a fantasy world which parallels our own medieval era with it's own equivalents. Thedas is basically Europe.

That guy DOES look like Vinnie Jones (maybe crossed with a bit of Jason Statham). I knew he reminded me of someone.

What would be cool is if this game is based off the aftermath of the Turian occupation in the first contact war. Like the man in this picture is like whatever group is left resisting the occupation, until the ending where the Alliance comes in with reinforcements and kicks out the Turians.
