By all means it is better for the game, the company, and the public without it.

However, providing mod tools is very cool. At least it gives the community options.

I perfer to have the nudity if there is going to be sexual content of that nature. But leaving it as a player's discretion option is not a bad idea.

But it is true that the states was founded by puritans, and it's also true that many of those beliefs still ring true today. I'm not saying everyone still has the same feelings but it is a bummer that the people that don't think in such a way must be coddled like children because of those beliefs.

Heck, I live in the bible belt, in a dry county (No alcohol allowed to be purchased here), and no lottery, because gambling is evil.

There isn't a strip club within 90 miles of here either.

Needless to say most of the community I live in would disapprove of nudity in video games.

There is the ****house sometime during the game. A smaller kid wouldn't really know about a ****. I'm 23 and at the time I was fourteen I was pretty eh naive. so perhaps that's the reason?

I agree with Shadowsigma. The two sides of the Atlantic have different historical backgrounds. This is why Europeans like myself appear to be more sensitive towards violence and our American friends appear to be more sensitive towards nudity. It is because of Europe's traumatic history in the past and the legacy of puritanism in America. I think that the sooner we both get over our inhibitions as societies the better it is for all of us. In the meantime we do not necessarily make stereotypes just by accepting the historical facts.

There's lot of dialogue related to sex in the game.



Some npc talk about how they enjoy killing ppl .. But seing a pair of boobies? DAMN CONTROVERSY!







But there's game where there's plenty of boobies.. Like God of War ... Dante Inferno ..

Hell in age of conan there's plenty of boobies content.and it's a frigging MMORPG(although i don't play it anymore). It's was more annoying than entertainming though.Has every PC female ran bra less



Also i remember in NWN i , horde of the underdark .. if your character had no clothes npc would notice it lol.



I hope bioware add more nudity and stuff like i said about NWN if they do an expansion pack for dragon age...WHich i think they will do.

I have yet to see the Lieliana scene (Saving that for in game) But when I saw the Morrigan scene, I was rather disappointed.

It's an 18 rating so why should there not be at least some nipples? I don't want full on hard-core D-age porn. I just don't want to be sat there thinking 'This is what I got excited over?'



I had an idea about fable and fable 2 that can also be used in this.



The game you buy comes as the version without the nudity and possibly some of the hardcore actiony blood and gore. to protect the children.

But, you can print off a form from the website that you can use to prove you are of the appropriate age, you know with a couple signatures and some minor details. Send it off, you receive a code in the email. That can only be used once and only once. Put this in at the games main menu. Boom! You have the full 18+ version.

It's a little bit of a farce to get it all done, but it's the only good way to do it. And I can tell you now, people are willing!

But does anyone remember Fox News and Mass Effect? Those boneheads reported on the air that you could make your character "sodomize" npcs. Given that this game has serious violence, references rape and has openly homosexual situations, I seriously doubt Bioware avoided the nudity on their own. My guess is EA had a lot to do with it.

I loved the Sierra leisure suit larry games. I played pretty much all of them up to 9. They were funny as all get out.

But, yes...hooray for boobies.

I will eventually get Morrigan boobies in my game. If I can find a good mod that doesn't require some membership or something ridiculous.

One game i can remember which had good sex scenes which weren't of the benny hill variety (like leisure suit larry, GTA) was a game called Fahrenheit. It was called indigo prophecy in the states but the sex scenes were removed (big surprise?).



Anyway, it had nipples (!) but it was also quite tasteful and cinematic.



DA:O sex scenes are really tame in comparison

Godfather II(EA) had plenty o' bare breasts, M rating, and the topless characters were prostitutes and strippers so I guess if Morrigan was a stripper/mage it'd have been ok, right? lol

I'm of the mind if you're going to get slapped with the "partial nudity" and "sexual content" label...you might as well actually have some real nudity.
