Games need pixels. You meant pixels showing nude textures? Hmmm, well, I would say young virgin males mostly? Nah, that's too cliché so I'm obviously wrong hehe. I guess it's a new form of "art", no? I mean what's worse between virtual nudity and a statue of a nude man/woman or a painting of an orgy like those medieval paintings that today find their way into museums and are called "masterpieces"? I'm not quite sure myself, to be honest.

Well, to be fair, the visualization of naked bodies, pixels or not, is sexually stimulating to many people.  To some, I suppose, this may ruin immersion, but to others, it will make the romance scenes that much more tantalizing to the imagination.

I think the question is why Bioware, having gone through the trouble of having adult themes, backed out on the nudity part.  And the answer, as I've been taught in school, is because only terrorists, communists, and satanists show their boobs.

Two facts y'all might be interested in:

1) To the person who mentioned the witch burnings. No witches have ever been burned at the stake in the US. Drowned, hung, pressed, stoned... yes... but not burned.

2) I asked my wife the other night who I should take in my party. She immediately pointed at Morrigan. Curious I asked her "Why her?" and her reply was "Because she looks s l u t ty."

There is no bra at least, it's possible to clip through Morrigan's robe texture and she does in fact have nipple textures.

As far as OP goes, I think originally the girls were going to be topless in the romance scenes but they nixed that at some point in development.

Am I the only one who put the camera angle down to the ground and then pointed up to see how much detail the programmers put into the area "down there"? Or am I the only pervert.

I agree.  The romance options are all very well and good if youre inclined towards that sort of thing, but virtual sex?  IDK, there are TONS of other things in this game that need fixing, balancing and restructuring;  unpolished and buggy gameplay and control elements that would actually have made the GAME better and more fun.  I wish more time had been spent on those things, rather than ZOMG MORRIGAN BEWBS.

The choice these days is to either play Sexy Beach, which has nudity and mature activity but boring gameplay, or Dragon Age, which does not have nudity, but awesome gameplay. I have to admit that I pick Dragon Age, but when will someone have both in one game?



Oh, and I'm from Europe, so I'm not ashamed to say that I like naked females, in real life, in movies, so why not in video games?

If parents buy their 14 year old kids this game and then get up in arms about excessive violence or any sexual content, even if that sexual content had full monty nudity, they have no grounds to sue or even complain, it's their own sodding fault!

Boobs are boobs....it's as simple to understand as that.

It is the same reason why a man can be aroused by a picture of a nude woman as easily as an actual nude woman.

The female form is biologically pleasing to most males. Quite simply the advancement of graphical development make this as attractive as said picture.

8-bit boobies = nothing while current Morrigan boobies = woo hoo boobies.

It is entertaining enough to want to see them and that is all there is to understand. It's base human nature.

And I am willing to stand by the statement that those that disagree are either liars, a woman, vastly too young, or vastly too old too appreciate the female form in other mediums.

However, I am also willing to concede that the nudity isn't necessary in the game nor does it really add anything to it other an a "Woo hoo look boobies" moment, which is entertaining the first time you see it. Those that buy a game such as this in hope of that moment are sorely missing the point, though.

Was it a bug that my character didn't get put in underwear for the sex scene? Morrigan was in hers, but my guy didn't even take off his full plate armor. It kind of ruined the mood because I started thinking of it as a medieval condom and couldn't stop laughing.
