Not possible as the game doesn't make a save if Shepard dies and devs have repeatedly said if Shepard dies then the story is over for you, no new character in ME3.
Well if you're doing a standard newgame from me3 without a previous save input then you wouldn't have anything to import anyways! Theoretically a new hero could piggyback off of the idea of shepard dieing, without carrying any choices. When you remove shepard from the equation it would suddenly become easy to have a neutral guy by just not addressing any of that at all, sort of like how ME2 newgame assumes the worst decisions from me1, only this would be one step further.
That is, unless the guy in the trailer is just some schmuck. boy wouldn't that be funny.
BioWare's great binary riddle...

The evidence points to the Mass Effect universe, not specifically to Mass Effect 3.
Good point, seeing as the guy in the image/trailer isn't shepard, then again could be anyting related. I am just glad it's Mass Effect
They could have randomized his face just for that.. to throw people off from the fact that it is ME3/DLC.

even if it was a spinoff, I wouldn't complain :')
if it's any kind of multi-player, I'll complain. <_< There are just not enough single player - GOOD - single player games out there.
Sigh. I hate waiting.
No, that's not true at all. I'm not sure which platform you use but I can find plenty of worthwhile singleplayer games on PS3 and 360.
If anything, I think there aren't enough good MP games.
But they aren't BioWare games. I have pc, xbox, xbox 360, wii (step-daughter and her husband just got me this for my birthday last mo).
I have Fallout3, FANewVegus, Fable2 and 3, I've got Jade Empire, KOTOR, I've played divinity2, Zelda, Final Fantasy 13 (ok could not finish this game), Dragon Age. I'm really picky about the games i fork out 60-70 bucks for.The ones I like best will let me play as a woman, will let me carry on conversations with the npc's that mean something. BioWare games. top of my list.
so pretty much youre too picky. the only game that matches your criteria is me1 and me2. youre gonna be waiting a long time for games since bioware can only make one every couple years.
minus fallout 3/new vegas and final fantasy every game you list is bioware. if you expand your horizons you may be surprised there is some decent games out
Actually had a mind slip. I do have ME1 and ME2 and plan on pre-ordering Me3 as soon as it's available.
And yes, I'm pretty much too picky. But If you can give me other games were they give me options to play a female, I'll be happy to check them out. Divinity2 was fun. not BioWare.
Oh I also have Star Wars Force Unleashed 1 and 2. I'm willling to play non bio-ware games, but I prefer playing female and I haven't found very many of those. Plus I do like BioWare games best.

To the best of my knowledge, stars more massive than the Sun turn protons and smaller nuclei to bigger ones by fusion. Iron-56 is the largest stable nucleus a star can form before it goes supernova (i.e. brutally explodes).
Make of this what you will.
You know, like BOOM!.
Does this mean that BioWare aren't actually announcing a video game, but a giant, Star Destroying Superweapon??Because that would be awesome
That's no moon!

My guess is it could be a multiplayer version of Mass Effect Online! Or it could be about TIM in his early days!
