Is there anyone who doesn't use them. Personally, I find them too ugly to use.

Depends on the character.

Example, Mordin's? perfectly fine. Miranda? ridiculous (though the alternative is no better)

The Jack's one is one of the best, the other makes me quite indifferent.

They just changed the color of the outfits...how lame is that?! I don't really care, but the "new" outfits are something that needs improvement.

I like some of the alternate colors better than the original. Mordin, Thane, Legion. Tali's is fine, too. And I have Jack put on some clothes, even though I don't like the outfit.

They should have made Jack get a cold, if you don't do her loyalty mission early and have her wear something from the waist up. You might think that Garrus would get an armor without a hole in it, but as far as I remember even loyalty does not make him switch out of his favorite suit; all that happens is that he is willing to personalize it with some crayons.

The loyalty outfits just give the clothes a big dose of Cerberus. It's all blacks and golds/oranges, with a couple of exceptions. I'm more likely to use them with a renegade character, but in general I prefer the originals.

Blasphemy...

I only use the one for Jack because it adds a little more decency, plus I had some idea that she'd be just slightly more modest after her loyalty mission, and especially when I romanced her on my Adept. Sort of some player inserted quasi-character development.

Depends on the character. For Miranda, I use her loyalty outfit as soon as possible. I really like it, and I find the white one very ugly.

I think some of you might be missing a subtle thing about the outfits-as you gain the crews loyalty and the misfits learn to work together their loyalty uniforms reflect the change from rag-tag bunch of misfits to an actual team. Some of them potentially show a bit more development than that too; Mordin, Jack, Samara, Zaeed, Kasumi and (OF COURSE) Tali and Garrus' colour schemes fit with the others, but they're still different enough to reflect they're loyal to *you* and not willing to go along with Miranda and Jacob's theme. Grunt? Eh, I always figure he just going along with that scheme because it's what the others are leaning towards, and you already know he's loyal.

The trouble with that idea is that most of the loyalty outfits use darker colours highlighted with gold or a similar colour, which gives them all a more aggressive appearance and distinctly Cerberus flavour. So, while they do represent the change from a group of misfits to a team, the implication is that it's a Cerberus team.

Ah, yes. "Recolors." Seriously, Bioware, you could have done better than that. Of course, they get more creative with the outfits in the alt. appearance pack, and suddenly LET'S COVER UP THE EYES urgh buncha jerks.

Hopefully, they'll have it figured out by ME3.

I like some of the loyalty outfits. Especially Jack's, she really needed some clothes...

@Mresa: Oh yeah, I do, too. Legion's especially, and Miranda's is a bit better than her normal one. But still, recolors?

It is indeed. Though I use everyone's loyalty outfits for the simple fact that I've gotten tired of seeing them in their normal armor by that point.

I meta-game a little with Samara's loyalty outfit. After her loyalty mission, I have her always wear the black outfit, as mourning colors. That's taking creative liberties with what emotions asari associate with what colors, but whatever.

Tali's loyalty outfit suits her perfectly. Miranda looks better, too. Thane, Mordin, Legion - for me, hardly any difference.

But the main questions is why Garrus still wearing pierced armour and who covered Jack's upper body with black dye?

I don't really use them either. Most look better in their normal outfit anyway and they are just recolors.
I think I usually have legion, Samara and Garrus in their loyalty outfits.

I have Jack wear her loyalty outfit at all times, after her loyalty mission. It may actually just be a recolor of her character model, and not a garment, but I just prefer it to the belt-bra.
