Hello!

I'm working on a power build for an action PW just now, I'm trying to decide if it's better to be a rapier user (to look cool/1d6 vs 1d4)

The alternative is Kukri (looks less cool, but with me dual wielding I won't take the -2 to hit that dual wielding 2 rapiers would)

Helop internet, make my decision for me D:

Kukri or rapier? I'd say shortsword. :)

Shortswords are small, so you don't incur in the penalty from medium weapons, and piercing, so Duelist's special abilities work with them, should you use them at some moment (against enemies with damage reduction, for example).

If you have Kaedrin's pack, however, you can take Champion of the Wild, Oversized TWF, and use rapiers instead.

I should've mentioned I'm also s 7 lrbrls weapon master, so I'm going for higher critical range too.

WM isn't maybe the best option if you have low STR, anyway.

If you really want kukris or rapiers, go kukri, but forget about Duelist's abilities. Carry a rapier in your backpack just in case you need one at some time.

You can post your build here:
