For weeks we're discussing who this sniper might be and how he relates to Shepard, ony to see him for two seconds in the trailer before he is crunched by a Reaper landing on top of his hideout...

Maybe it's just because I'm in Mass Effect mode, but the Clash album immediately made me think of the Renegade symbol. I might just be hoping too hard. And then there's the red herring. But that'd just be kind of cruel. Though, I'm excited either way. (Just especially if it's ME)

It's still a rumour as it still has not been confirmed officially.

I'm personally looking forward to seeing how they implement multiplayer into ME3. I'm not sure where all this negativity has come from but it is Bioware and they want to make the best game they can. Whether it's exclusively co-op or various other modes, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

As far as I'm aware Bioware has not made any hints at including multiplayer.
The EA thing only mentioned ME3.

The negativity comes from the fact that for multiplayer to exist resources that could be spent on more important things (such as more companion dialogue, cutscenes, dialogue for the story etc) would have to be used on adding multiplayer instead.
