Frankly, if this is a multiplayer shooter, then count me out. I've grown tired of this multiplayer focus games are taking. It's killing the industry.

So I'm beginning to think that the 'MURDER' clue isn't actually related to BioWare's game at all. It seems to be the odd one out, as all the others can be linked, but not this one. The latest Spike trailer teases a brand new game (likely BF3), and the one with the MURDER clue teased a zombie game. I'm thinking the zombie clue and the murder clue are one in the same.

Hoping it isn't an FPS. The best one that's been released lately is BF:BC2.

I'm inclined to agree, I think it's a clue associated with one of the other games being announced during the VMAs.

http://playstationli...eo-game-awards/

By mixing up the signals, it makes it hard to guess. Hence why Bioware posted theirs on the social site here, probably to help us cut through the FUD.

For you, good sir.

http://www.spike.com...-teaser/3499776

General consensus is Battlefield 3 as the planet zoom is very, very similar to what one would find in BF2 and BF2142. Plus it was tagged with "EA Games", though it looks like it was removed. That and Battlefield 3 is apparently in development. Now would be the ideal time to announce it.

While I wouldn't say that it's "killing the industry" it is however killing originality in the industry lately. The games industry is only growing stronger from a technical standpoint, but from a creativity and originality standpoint... not so much. The games are all beginning to become this same brown hyrbid mush of story-driven action games with mild RPG components lately, and everybody is trying to cater to the same crowd and genres and game IPs are starting to lose their identity in this overwhelming genericism.

BioWare aren't exactly helping either with the mainstreaming and oversimplification of their titles either. I used to admire BioWare because they avoided this pitfall and made clearly defined RPG games for a more niche market. Now they're just leaping into the same pool as everybody else, and their games are suffering for it. Kind of ironic since most other developers lately have created games closer to BioWare's model by introducing more story-driven and cinematic stylings and more in-depth RPG elements to action-based games that were generally more simple, while BioWare seems to be going the opposite direction now by making it's generally more in-depth games simpler and removing RPG elements. It's like everybody is trying to find this perfect mix to satisfy as many people as possible for profit rather than making clearly-defined games and appeal to different audiences, whether it suits the concept of the game or not.

It's mass effect related. Incisor rifle proves this fact.

Unless Bioware confirms otherwise I'm just saying the rifle is a look alike that has nothing to do witht the Incisor. Plus the fact it's missing the bipod traditional of the Incisor. But that's just me.;)

Well, if I want to read things into this update, I could say that "the singles" stands for the Reapers - Sovereign, as evident from his name, said that each Reaper is "sovereign", independent and whatever... while "the clash" obviously stands for the clash between the galaxy and the Reapers.

Of course a far more intriguing hypothesis is that Bioware is going to make an RPG about the british old school punk scene, with murders and everything. :P

Look at all the people turning their backs on Bioware because of rumours. So arrogant you are.

BioWare turned their backs to me first I'm afraid. ME2 felt like a stab in the back, and DA2 looks like a spinning dagger heading slowly towards me.

It's bad enough that I'm worried that ME3 could be even more like "Gears of War with dialogue" than ME2 was without footage of a no-necked tough marine guy in a completely grey environment. They're not exactly helping their case here.

Um, when did Bioware ever owe you anything? If you don't like the quality of the games they make, don't buy them. Bioware is not catering specifically to you, they're not making the game how you like it. I really hope the devs don't actually read anything on these forums. There would be no Mass Effect at all with this 'community'.

One of the songs is called "London Calling". Many people have said that the area in the trailer looks like London.

Edit: There are two more songs called "This is England!" and "English Civil War". I think it's all but confirmed this trailer was taking place in England.

So a video that looks like its in London, a random cover for an album featuring songs about London, and a website of an organization in London. I think London might be involved in this game

Well, when doing a Google Image search for "The Clash The Singles", that image comes up fourth.

Fourth song on the album is "I fought the law", which has a semi famous reframe that says:

"I fought the law, but the law won."

It's actually a cover.

http://en.wikipedia...._Fought_the_Law

The image was originally uploaded to this blog, albeit I don't think it's a part of the clue.

http://restodenosotr...sh-singles.html

Or it could just be focusing on the words.

Iron Cold Secret Clash?

Keep in mind some of the words could be a metaphor.

So, it could really mean something like "unyielding bitter hidden conflict".
