I mean there are a lot of fan fictions about Jack and Grunt having playful 'spars' that end in fiery climactic disastrous injuries and then laughing it off afterwards. I dunno I always figured those two would get along.

To be together, in any sort of long term relationship, one or the other would have to give up either the rule of the Krogan Clans or Omega, at least on a semi-permanent basis. And Wrex CANNOT abandon Tuchanka, the krogan need him for their very survival as a people, whether they realize it or not.
That leaves Aria to make the move, and I just can’t see Aria playing second fiddle to anyone. She’s just not the housewife type, even in a place where the daily chores include kicking someone’s teeth-analogues in. She has to be in her own house.
This is partly why I think she and Garrus would be such a good match. Garrus has no problem living in FemShep’s “house” and playing by her rules, more or less. Not that Garrus is some sort of doormat, good heavens no! Just that he seems to prefer, independent, commanding women.

Zaeed and Matriarch Aethyta.
"Can you get rid of this **** so I don't have to beat him with his own spine?"
"This takes me back"
Epic lulz. That never would have occurred to me, but it works.
The focus never really leaves Shepard, so it's often hard to think of many others, but...honestly, I've always liked Kal for Tali more than her and Shepard. Obviously the way each male Shepard is portrayed is going to be different, but I just...think she's too sweet for him. I know she's done some growing up, but I still can't help see her more like a little sister. Or...maybe that creepy, infamous face from their romance has simply deterred me.
Hey, if Kasumi wants Jacob, she can have him. I won't be romancing him, but he's not a bad guy. He deserves a little attention, I think. It could work, her bubbly attitude could...balance things out. Might make a cute beta couple.
I've also fond of the idea of Thane and Samara. Odd since they've said next to nothing to each other, but they have a decent amount in common. Sense of duty overiding personal feelings, heavy emphasis on spirituality, meditation, loss of family. If there were room for more interaction with characters other than Shepard, they might have had a bit to talk about.
I don't really care for Garrus with anyone besides a female Shepard, although...anyone notice he and Ash have a decent amount in common? I mean, he basically has her job in the sequel, and they both have hand-to-hand training, and...
"I don't think kissing turians will be necessary."
"You never know, Commander."

The thing about Wrex and Aria is they’re both more or less at the top of their careers, at opposite ends of the galaxy.

Never stopped Shepard and Liara LI.

…they are eminently mobile. Wrex and Aria are sort of rooted in place. If Omega were portable, I’d say put a tow on that heap and park it in Tuchanka orbit!

-Sidebar- Can Liara’s ship actually leave that planet?

What I'm suggesting is that between the both of them (Aria and Wrex being something like over one thousand years old), long distance would work. And with the galaxy ending, Aria and Wrex would not be able to stay in one place for too long.
Its all theoretical, however. They would make a badass duo.

Kelly and Zaeed. 'Nuff said.
Wasn´t it even hinted that Ash had a thing for Kaidan? With the v-mail from her sister?
Tali - Kal Reeger
Kasumi - Jacob
No more is needed IMO.

I love Kal'Reeger - he reminds me of Kaidan, what with all the "ma'am" business. It seems like he likes Tali, but that might only work for a female Shep playthrough...
Love Feron/Liara. It seems like she's afraid to go there because she's worried about Feron, but he sees to be doing better than she thinks. He also doesn't seem thrilled about the arrangement resulting from the Shadow Broker DLC.
Kasumi/Jacob could be good. I bet she cloaks in the armory while he works out. But seriously, she's so girly while still being formidable, and I think Jacob could get into that.
I'd also love to see Miranda and Jacob give it another try. I know that ship has sailed, but things are different now, and Miranda's less high and mighty than she used to be.
It's not my thing, but maybe Tali and Garrus? He did have that Fleet and Flotilla song on his scouter (I don't remember what they're called, so let's go with Dragonball Z), so he must have considered Quarians... But maybe they would disagree on too many things.

Or a male Shepard that only sees her as a friend. It's rare apparently, but...well, not everyone can get their first pick. But yeah, Kal's awesome.

Didn't he just have a song from the movie on it? I have "Love is Forever (Neutron Star Collision)" on my Ipod, that doesn't mean I must be into vampires XP
Not that I have much to go by, but I don't think Garrus has considered anyone except other turians. He seems very conservative in that regard. Only goes for Shepard when she propositions him.
