I want to play this game online I installed the game and the 2 expansion packs. Then I tried to install the update on the auto menu and it says it cant find it on the website? When i click on multiplayer it tells me to update and yet it still cant find the update. Then I clicked on no when it asked me again and i can see there are tons of online games but i cant connect to them because i dont have the update....HOW THE HELL DO I GET THE UPDATE?????

If you are using Diamond edition, there is an update on the dvd/cd itself, you first have to run that, THEN the auto-update will work.

Unfortunately, Atari in their infinite wisdom and experience, fails to do ANYTHING correctly.  So, instead of applying that patch, then building the cd/dvd installs, they just placed them in a seperate folder, with little to no hint that you have to run them before attempting to get the real, final, updates from bioware.

After you run that initial patch from the cd/dvd, then you can either run the auto-update OR go directly here: Bioware NWN Updates and grab the HOTU 1.69 critical rebuild.

Note: You may only have to grab that critical rebuild, but I do know that the other way works, just not sure if the critical is enough for your particular version.

I have the Platinum edition and mine would not update via the update function on the first game screen. However it did give me the address where I could find the update I needed and I will provide that link here....
