Hello, I went into Cania for the first time tonight.
One of the first things I found was the Scrivener, who joined my party. Then, I went to the center of town and entered the quarry. As soon as we were inside, the Scrivener disappeared from my party. It seems to be gone permanently.
Does this mean my game is broken?

That d.... animal isn't supposed to visit the quarry, is it? I remember it being very elusive anyway. You've probably found it on your way out to the "town".

Okay, everything's fine now. I found the Scrivener parked outside the quarry office when I needed to go back there for something. This time, I figured out what I was supposed to do, got the ice cave opened, and got the big reveal about you-know-who, who is now in my party. (Awesome!)
I followed the rest of the module story, got my 3-D glasses, er, I mean my puzzle ring, and now I'm out in the wastes.
Cool mod - very little combat, almost all exploration and role-playing.
