What are the Dragon Age: Character Creator network requirements?

I'm interested in knowing some more detail on why my login button inside the CC is not clickable. Is there some sort of connection test that is failing? I've looked for a readme, or other documentation on network/connection issues, but can't seem to find anything. I've also made a few posts in threads made by other people that are having this same problem.

My Login button was grayed out when my firewall software was denying it Internet access. That's all the experience I have with it, and obviously I just had to click allow it access.

Yeah.. I've doublechecked that the DA:CC has been allowed access...
