There are bunch of them do they just show up at given points in the game automagicly? and what about the ring for using the toon creator before the game launched and which of the 2 keys do I use as steam shows that it used 2 "CD keys" one that is 5 4char groups separated by dashes and the other a long string of numbers and letters
Cheers

when I use the link on the game start page I go to http://social.biowar...ragonage/redeem it knows who I am but entering the # 2 code from Steam gives me this msg
Code not recognized, please check that you have entered it correctly.
Unable to redeem code.
Since I am using cut and paste I know it is just as provided by steam
I can play yhe game just fine but I am not able to see all the extras that ar listed in the steam link

You're supposed to register the game on this site, and the redeem the 2 DLC keys/Promo codes.
It sounds like your'e either missing one key or you have them mixed up.

make sure you use the right cdkey to register the game and the right key for the redeeming extras ... don't listen to this site when it says you have to choose the one with dashes/without ... (for me, the website said to use the one WITH dashes for the game itself, but this was not accurate if you look at the keys from within steam..)
on steam, right click on the game, then view cdkey, it will tell you which one is the game key and which is the deluxe key. i believe (on mine) the one without dashes was the right key to register the GAME, the one with dashes was for the extras.
i found it easier to come directly to this site and entering the keys manually instead of using their link, but that might just be personal preference. when i tried it 3 times with the link steam had, it didn't work, but the 4th time i manually did it and it was fine, but it could have been the server just not responding.
EDIT: as far as the ring from using the character creator, you only get that one if you FIRST: upload the character form inside the character creator and save it. (make sure you are logged into the correct account here)
THEN: you load the game itself, and make a new game, it will ask you if you want to make a new toon or import from online. you choose import (make sure you are logged into the same account before you try this). Then it will look up your characters, then you hit next through the next screens and then it will start the game. You should just have the ring for this in your inventory.

Steam should give you 3 "CD-keys". 2 for DLC and 1 for the game.

only if you pre-ordered .. there's a pre-order key, a digital deluxe key and a game key only if you pre-order do you get the pre-order key

I will try it when I get home from work thanks I thought the game was auto registered when You get it from Steam I have been playing and at no point has it asked for the Game key?
Did not make it simple did they?
Are some of the things in the list at http://store.steampo...com/app/901037/ just for pre-ordering?

I have not been asked by the game to register it and I can play it and log on to this site using the button in the lower left of the first game screen perhaps Steam does that part automatically?
The ring has shown up for the 2 toons I pre created so that anyway has worked

the long code with out the dashes (the one with the name "Dragon Age Deluxe Game CD..." is what Bioware wants as the game CD code the code that it wants as the redeem promo code is code that is the 4 groups of 4 separated by the dashes and is the one in the steam codes window called "Dragon Age Deluxe CD Key" would it not be nice if steam/bioware had called this the redeem promo code and explained the process? as the game plays just fine and access the toons I created in the toon creation program and placed here on line I had no way of knowing that a separate reregistration of the game here was needed before I could enter the redeem promo code AKA the "Dragon Age Deluxe CD Key" if not for the help from you folks I would be still out to lunch on this thanks to you all and a THIBBERTTTT (raspberry) to the crew at Steam/Bioware that set up this convoluted system if a note explaining all this was included in the email receipt for the digital download purchase this would be much simpler
