Love NWN2, decided to reinstall and thought I might check out a good PW. I like RP...I actually found a great one awhile back (then RL ate me alive and left me no time to play...)

Unfortunately I couldn't seem to find a good RP one that didn't just leave the default character creation options to choose from. No offense to the game's creators, but they're ugly. I cannot enjoy a character if I can't stand how it looks...which is the reason I heavily mod my character creation choices in my single-player games.

So...any ideas?

I think a lot of PWs actually provide custom-content heads and hair HAKs.  Whether or not so many of those are any better looking, I'll leave to individual judgement.
Dasaria II http://dasaria.net/ is one of them, but honestly I don't think its all that unique, many servers do.

As Vekin said, SoD (Sea of Dragons) contains a lot of custom content for character creation. We have implemented most of the custom heads and hairstyles as of around the middle of this summer. There are a few new haks that have been made shortly after that that we have not gotten around to adding, but we certainly have a lot.

If you've been gone a long while, I think you'll be surprised how much has changed. NWN2 has gobs of custom content now a lot of which has been incorporated into persistent worlds. There are also a lot of PW choices out there that will take you well off the beaten path.

Wulverheim has custom hairs, clothes and even make-up on one of the faces.  I use the item appearance changer and I've made hundreds of my own custom armour appearances to choose from.

Yes, I confess it's been quite awhile since I revisited NWN2. I actually went back and played the original NWN between then and now, heh. Graphics are so, so dated but you know what? It still holds up as a game.
