Ow just broke my nose on the friend wall.

Seriously I ran across Fereldan, killed dragons & werewolves, got to Morrigan and shes like "err...why exactly are you here?"

And I didn't have a bloody answer!
I was trying to romance Morrigan in Origins but when she asked if we could be "more than friends" I said "maybe...under the right circumstances" then suddenly I'm a permenant friend!

So I played through Witch Hunt, hoping I could finally romance Morrigan when I found her.
But all I got was bloody friend crap & stuff about Flemeth "Flemeth isn't really dead...and shes evil" WELL BLOODY DONE SHERLOCK!

Why couldn't I tell Morrigan I loved her or something in the Dragonbone Wastes? Would I really chase her all that way just because "we were friends once", I chose that answer because it was the only one of the three answers that I could tolerate, I didn't blame Morrigan when she was like "WTF!?"


Wouldn't this be a cool or plausable option? As opposed to me chasing her down just to have an overly short conversation with her about nothing?

Unfortunately your Origins answers put her in the friend zone. Witch Hunt was more for people who had romanced her in Origins, or Dalish (since it added a bit more to their background). For everyone else it was a bit anticlimactic.

Maybe I should have murdered her, just so there'd be a point to the quest  (jk)

I think it would have been a cool option, to change from friendly to romantic in Witch Hunt, I spent enough time talking to her in Origins, I wasn't hugely suprised by its emission but Bioware is supposed to be one of the major sellers of this "open ended" gameplay.
