 So I've had this bug on two different playthroughs, both times with Liliana. Maxed out her Poison-Making skill but she can't use any poisons with the 'Improved Poison-Making' requirement, such as Silent Death. I could actually purchase the Silent Death recipe and craft the item, but it's still greyed out and the "Improved Poison-Making" requirement is in red.

I've seen elsewhere that poisons only require the first level to use. Obviously if I can make the item with a character she should be able to use it! What's going on?

I'm having this same exact problem and thus far haven't found an answer. My main character has Master Poison-Making, so I have all 4 poison-making tiers. I whipped up a batch of Quiet Death, then in the next fight went to apply it and to my surprise it said that I couldn't apply it because I don't have Improved Poison-Making, i.e. poison-making tier 2. But I do have Improved Poison-Making, I couldn't have Master Poison-Making without having Improved Poison-Making first, so why can't I use this poison?

I'm having the same issue - has anyone found an answer yet? I wish I hadn't spent so much gold on those recipes. I guess I'll revert to an earlier save and forego the Quiet Death.
