Let's face it.  Without Admiral Hackett, our moral compass would be in tatters.  After you had your backs pressed up against the wall, fighting to save the galaxy, at the end of the day, you always Hackett with this mysterious voice that always seemed to calm rather than incite after a poor decision.

You miss him.  ME2 just isn't the same without hearing his voice at the end of each mission.  One email just doesn't cut it.  It's time we let BioWare know we want Hackett back in ME3 in any form possible.  We need our foundation.

Agreed. ♥

I want him back for ME3! And, hopefully, whatever bridging DLC we get in the near future. More Hackett, in general. Hell, give me a spin-off game. Hackett Effect.

Totally!

You can't fight a fleet of Reapers if you don't have “the Admiral”

Yes, though the ME2 consequence for being the butcher of Torfan kind of.. How shall I say.. made me loathe Hackett a bit, due to the circumstances under what happened to the Shepard memorial tribute on Torfan.

I have an addendum: I want to see his face. At least once.

After reading the LoSB info on Hackett, I want to know what he know about if he knew about Cerberus taking Shepherd and if he approved it.

I suppose the reason they were comparing his face to an enigma was perhaps to illustrate the anonymity of soldiers, where information is strictly on a need-to-know basis hence any extra information, such as the appearance of one's superiors, was not required, hence not added?

How they could reduce Admiral Hackett to an email is beyond me.  :crying:

I couldn't agree more.  Whoever thought this would be a good idea? I mean, seriously? Posted Image

I was pretty upset with many of the decisions made in ME1 to be reduced to emails, but most especially Hackett. In light of this, without spoiling anything, the LotSB helps to fill a small part of the hole for Hackett in ME2.

What I hope for is that they simply drop the mission-complete-screens in ME3 and replace them with Hackett-mission-complete-debriefings.^_^

Definitely the voice I miss. Never mind the face even, but his briefings made me feel like there actually was somebody (other than Anderson, pre-council decision, and your crew of Normandy, of course) in the active duty; that I had allegiance, the Alliance.

And I appreciate the ship-inspector (and the mother on spacer-profile), but that´s just not the same.

What can I say. "Request denied" and the dog-tags:) As good as it gets in ME2. Hope for remedy in ME3.

Compared to The Admiral, The Illusive Man just can’t “Hack-it!”

Yeah, LotSB helped my disappointment a little... as well as the Droid commercials on television lol...

I miss him greatly!!! We NEED him back, Bioware! Posted Image

Edit: Even though we never see Adm. Hackett in-game, I feel like he's almost a father-figure to Shepard, perhaps even more-so than Anderson is. After all, Hackett is the one who kept Shepard's dog tags after his/her death.

Hackett needs to be in ME3. His voice alone made the UNC missions superior to the N7 assignments.
