That Neil Ross...got me thinking. I could relate that voice to the image. Interesting. Somehow still his face is not so stern as I had imagined Hackett to be (too much Millennium I guess...).

Oh, but who am I kidding... That face would be just, just not IT for me.

At a minimum, Shepard needs to shake his hand in ME3. He gave your old tags to Liara so she could return them to you, after-all.

So even if you didn´t purchase the LotSB, they´d be in your posession, or not? I wondered about that move, was it anything significant at all or just a name for Liara to have for your "I remeber him! Awsome!"?

With the new trailer up, I feel more and more inclined to stop coming here, for the sake of these little tidbits not getting answered before I could find out for myself in the game...

Nah, Liara gives them to you personally after the LotSB missions. It's not very significant, It just sits there on your bedside table. Still looks cool though!

I could totally see him saying "Shepard, this is Admiral Hackett of the Daedalus Alliance Command"

Seriously though, if Admiral Hackett isn't in ME3 (at the very least, in voice, if not in body) I am going to hurt someone. That someone will probably be me. From punching the nearest wall.
I miss that deep, manly voice of authority, my friends. I miss it something terrible. ;3;

Damn straight, I know there is the argument that Anderson doesn't look like Keith David (I don't mind Anderson face, but Keith David's would've been just as good)

But the fact is it'd just be weird looking at some other face other than Henriksen's.

As for Mitch Pileggi (JRCHOharry's pic) I could see him being either another Admiral of the Alliance or maybe one of the Human Council

I do hope Hackett is back and isn't killed off pre-ME3 (or even in the intro )

We need one of our best Alliance allies (besides VS of course), I really can't see them not having him unless the VS has risen to such a rank which imho would be absurd, rising to shep's rank, sure, rising to Admiral... what?!?!

Though I guess if they can't get him to come back (or he doesn't want to :/ ) no... not going to think negative thoughts.

Hackett is a straight up boss. I have a feeling he will play a key role in the fight against the-you-know-who on the you-know-what.

I somehow see a glass of whiskey there^_^ Without a cigar. And without a beard.
Even with the decent enough alternatives, that voice only relates to Henriksen with me.
But I wouldn´t climb a wall if it were a man with a beard, smoking a cigar in a briefing-room, having a moment to ask what I´ve accomplished so far to aid the Fleet. Or where my loyalties lie.
The alternative with Keith David didnt.
