Hi - First I did search through a few other threads on this issue, and posted on one of them, and so far none of the suggestions have worked.  I read the WEB FAQ for uploading characters and that did not resolve the issue.  So after trying the FAQ, searching, and what existing information I could find (mainly on this thread http://social.biowar.../20/index/31157, I finally decided to post here.

I have not been able to update my characters on this site since: Last updated 2009-10-19 00:20:02, which is a week.  That seems longer than the 1-2 days other people have reported.

The first day I started my account and created 4-5 characters they all updated fine in the first few hours.  I was able to make a few changes and they updated fine again.

Move ahead a few days and I decided I wanted to redo a bunch of them.  I renamed some to either new characters or replaced one character with another.  Nothing uploaded.  After a day or so I thought maybe it had to do with the renaming.  So I deleted all of the characters in my online player profile area except one (which is the only one still there).  I then reloaded all my characters again - nothing.

I have tried the following:

• Verified my email account through the EA site and this site and made sure everything matched and was synched up
• Reset my password just in case there was any issue there
• Tried emptying cache on browser and logging out of BSN before starting the CC to upload characters
• I always made sure I was logged into the CC when uploading
• I saved any edits I made in the CC before uploading
• Gave the upload process plenty of time to upload (a week)
• Tried multiple uploads of the same character
• Based on thread I linked I reset the character creator settings to the DEFAULT ones and then tried to upload a character.  

What I don't get is why it was working fine and then just stopped.  My only guess is something got confused between deleting, renaming and moving characters around but I don't see how that could be a problem.  Either way nothing is uploading any more.

Today I am going to delete my only remaining character in case something is stuck on that.  I am open to any suggestions people have.

I If detailed computer specs are needed I can give them but the basics are that I am on Vista Home Premium, SP 2.  Inten Core Quad CPU 2.4, 3 Gig Ram, 32-Bit OS

No suggestions but I do know that Dragon Age site was down for most of Saturday (24th Oct) also I have noticed that after saving and uploading it can take as long as 16 hours before the changes are finally uploaded to the site.

I've had the same problem as KeithWolfheart. I have 5 characters in my avatar space, and I can't add any more. I have no trouble adding them to my album, but can't seem to upload any new avatars. Is there a limit to how many you can upload? I realize this site is still in beta, but I don't understand why the uploading worked the first day, and not now.

I guess the moderators,(Stanley Woo, Jesse van Herk , Chris Priestly , Jeff Rousell) are pretty busy answering all the questions and complaints from other posters. Maybe one of them will have time eventually to reply to ours.

They are usually quick if they have an answer so I expect it is not something they can immediately help with. I am not to worried - I mainly posted to have it out there for review and to see if others have had the same problem. I want it to work, of course, but less worried about it now, more concerned if it won't work when the game is out. I am sure with the game coming out in like a week they have a lot to keep them busy



I tried deleting everything today and starting from scratch but that didn't help either. I am out of ideas at the moment but will keep looking.

I had no problems uploading some chars. But a few others took awhile to be uploaded. It all depends of the servers, I suppose.

Thanks for the info. This issue has now been fixed. Please check your characters page. This will start the process of syncing your characters. It should then take less than an hour for you all your characters to appear.



If your character data still isn't appearing please let me know.

Woot it worked! I went from 0 to 9 characters while at the office. Nice surprise when I got home. Thanks very much for whatever magic you worked.

Same problem.

My only character that I have is not updated since about 9 days.

My achievement is not updating too.



Don't know what to now...



Can we manually update our character profile...?
