I'd be a Turian. I like their societies values.
As for Asari, I don't know why anyone would want to live for 1000 years.

Life is a ****.
Which Alien Race would you be?

I like sleeping. Death is just a permanent nap. I'm fine with that.

Asari, on the other hand, get biotic powers, long life spans, automatic hotness, and license to sleep with whom-and-what-ever they want.
I would be ultimate Mary Sue with a turian beau. Hell yes.

You will always have to suffer that by knowing people, not only people older or less healthy than you, but even those who should have outlived you, but through circumstance don't. Enduring that is part of the burden of knowing others. It's won't be something new. It's just one of many things you would have to endure more of. The important thing, though, would be to cherish the time you have with the fish...er...others. The exchange would be to see and know so many others; to be not just a friend to a person, but a friend to his family for generations; to see society and culture and their development over time in a way a shorter lifespan can't; to start a project that would span generations and be able to see it to its conclusion and then move onto another one.shnizzler93 wrote...

This would wear away at me over time, I'm sure, which is why I would take a pass on immortality, but an extended lifespan? I've been endlessly fascinated tracking the march of technology and it's influences on society just in my short lifespan. I've helped with projects whose payoff, if successful, might not be seen for another 50-60 years. Most likely I won't live to see it, but I'm okay with that, If I could live to see it though, if I would outlive my niece, whom I am very close with, but be able to see her grandchildren grow, I think I could deal with it, at least for a time. Time only wears away at you if you let it.
