Will the Eyefinity & Speedtree bug carry over to DA2?

If so, why so? You'd really be doing yourself a huge favor making sure DA2 doesn't suffer from this problem - heck, why don't you fix it in DA1 and it'll carry over to the sequel (if you're still using the same engine, that is.).
Cheerio!

Wondering if the horrible vegetation and tree bug with speedtree technology in triple-screen Eyefinity-setup that ruined the gaming experience in DA1 will still be rearing it's ugly head in DA2?

How would they be doing themselves a huge favor by fixing this problem? People with that setup probably account for 0.000001% of the people who bought the game.

Because it says right there on the Box - ATi Eyefinity - Multi Display Technology, also listed on AMD's site as supporting it. It affects everyone playing in a resolution higher than 1920x1080. Claiming that something works while it clearly doesn't is false advertising as far as I'm aware. Wouldn't you be a tad ticked off if the Toyota Land Destroyer you were buying claimed to be 4-wheel drive but when you try it out you realise it's No-wheel drive?

How does that have anything to do with DA2?

Not paying attention, are we?
I'm not expecting an answer from random_dude_off_the_internet_002 as this question is clearly not directed to you.

I am paying attention. Just because it supports it doesn't mean that it is optimized for it. Even if it did, what's written on DAO's box has nothing to do with DA2.

Oh. Neither do I. Something to do with high resolutions or multiple screens or something.

It could very well be an ATI/AMD thing I am not sure. For the record I am playing with a resolution of 7680x1440 so it could be affected by your Ratio as the majority of monitors out there still are 16:10 and I am playing at 16:9.

Total number of users affected...5? I get your point but there are way way way waaaaaaaay more important problem to fix than such a minor one
So you think that only 5 people in the whole world play Bioware games on a multi-monitor setup based on ATi-Eyefinity?
I'm asking in the forum in a futile attempt to make someone at Bioware acknowledge the problem and hopefully fix it in DA2 (thinking they'd spend any more time on DA:O is probably out of the question). Also prospective Eyefinity-gamers out there should be made aware that this problem exists and that it might affect their gaming experience in DA2 if developers don't fix it.

You know what, I'm wrong, actually I like your logic Nerivant. Since it doesn't affect all of the user base let's just ignore the ones that are affected. So can we get a 1.05 patch for PC alone and just forget the whole getting patch on xbox and ps3 as well thing?

On the other hand, the common sense side of me says play the game on one monitor like 99 percent of the population. I'd prefer BioWare spend time tweaking and polishing issues that will affect the majority of the gamer base.
