[Shepard needs a Vacation]

 So I was thinking about all the overall big choices you could make in ME and ME2 and how they would change ME3 so heres the choices I want to have on my character the first time i play ME3

Paragon shep
killed the council
Undia is the human rep
Saved the Rachni queen
saved wrex
saved ash
killed Samara for Morinth
gave legion to cerberus
all team members survived the sucide mission
kept the collector base

Thats how I want it, what about you guys?

saved the council,
Anderson is the council rep dude.
saved the rachni,
destroyed the genophage cure,
saved wrex,
saved kaidan,
whole team survived suicide mission,
vido is dead,
destroyed collecter base,
kept Legion,
killed Morinth,
saved Sidonis,
saved the crew.

i think that's all the bigger choices ingame.
yay for super paragons!

Recruited everyone except for Kasumi
Killed Morinth
Killed Sidonis
Vito is still alive
Stopped Cerberus from experimenting with David.

After this I will then play through as a pure Paragon then pure Renegade.

Saved the Council, as much as I'd like to let them die I can't stand the "empty council" scene.

Anderson as Councilor, I'd pick Udina but I want to avoid the default story as much as possible.

Saved the Rachni.

Wrex survived.

Destroyed the Genophage Cure.

Saved Ashley, romanced her.

Picked Samara over Morinth.

Revealed Evidence at Tali's trial.

Let Cerberus continue with David.

Kept the Base.

Everybody survived Suicide Mission.

Feros Colony saved with half dead and half alive.

Vito dead.

Sidonis alive.

My first playthrough will be so paragon it hurts:

Saved Ashley and Wrex
Saved Shiala, the council, and the rachni queen.  Anderson is Councilor.
Convinced Lorik to testify against Anoleis
Everyone recruited, loyal, and alive (including crew)
Kept graybox, let Vido go, saved David
Completed LotSB
Kept genophage data, saved Sidonis, rewrote geth
Veetor and Kal'Reegar are alive
Saved Tali from exile, did not show data, urged quarians not to go to war
Blew up Collector Base
Did a crapton of sidequests and went all paragon on them. Accidentally skipped a few. Did not download Pinnacle Station or Bring Down the Sky.

I always use my first playthrough as a "test run," where I make all paragon choices and do not attempt to hunt down too much bonus content. I then do a couple more "serious" playthroughs to fiddle around with the options (though I tend to make mostly paragon choices). I then do an all-renegade playthrough and a strictly neutral playthrough. Finally, I do a minimalist run where I skip and kill off as many things as possible.

I have no life.

If I recall correctly, I did it because:

- it was implied many people would die and the citadel would be completely destroyed if you didn't focus on Sovereign
- the council came across as a useless bunch
- it finally gave humanity a chance to get recognition

There's more to it.
1) Ascension firepower = half of the human fleet.
2) Beheading the galaxy doesn't seem to me to be a good way to get it organised and united.

Even if you don't agree, your comment falls down because
3) The Ascension has a crew of 10,000.
