The Eamon/Isolde can be happy, depending upon what happens in game.
Teagan can marry (but not to the PC. Which is wrong).
Gorim gets married (as you mentioned).
After that, I'm drawing a blank.
male / female char and it's impact on the game

I was going to say Eleanor and Bryce, as well as Fergus having a happy marriage, but then remembered what happened...
I would say if the FemCousland marries Alistair for love, they can work towards having a happy marriage, but look at what they went through to get there.

Herron and Wade! They seem to be a very happy, long-term couple. And the desire demon bit is a lie

Y'know, I think you're right, ejoslin. I forgot about that and I really can't see Herrin as a desire demon.

Certain conversations with other companions will also be different (Sten will give you a very interesting conversation early on). Leliana and Zevran's dialogs will also be slightly different in certain parts (and obviously during the romances).
Ugh now im thinking of Lelianas like "Chivalry is sooooo dead." comment to the male warden.

Not for me. I knew he wasn't a long-term romantic interest so when he said goodbye at the jail, I didn't think I'd see him again. It was my first game and I didn't even know what Denerim was, much less remembered that he said to meet there again. So I was well into a new romance when I saw him and at first I was excited, but it got so awkward because my love interest was right there in the group. I wanted so badly to tell Gorim he could be my second again, but again, awkwaaard. I felt relieved that he landed on his feet and found a good woman because it was my dwarf's fault he got in a bad situation. I have heard about people going to Denerim first thing to find him again only to find out he's married and moved on. Glad I was spared that nasty shock. Gorim is a good, good soul. It's just one of those "not meant to be" situations, but hey, hell of a first boyfriend, huh? =p Frankly, I'd rather find a former love interest happy and with someone else than to have them die uttering they only loved my PC. (Tamlen, for example. Cullen was odd. HN companions were slaughtered. City elf fiance was killed trying to save the girl. Ugh.)Zjarcal wrote...
Huh, that's an interesting observation. Although, are there any happy marriages without any tragedy attached to them in all of DA?
Oh, there's Gorim. That might be a tragedy for some though.

I never counted Cullen as a 'first love'. Way too many squik feelings with a mage loving one of the templars set to 'guard' her. To say nothing that he was our executioner if we messed up the Harrowing. He didn't deny that he would kill us, just that he 'would have felt awful' for it.
