Places of power: how do I find them and activate them? I haven't seen any

Thy Brother's Killer: Who is the maleficarum? Is it the hermit? After completing the main quest in the ruins, I no longer can kill him by reaching into the tree stump (I reloaded the first time after doing that- as that seemed kind of evil). When I reach into the tree stump after doing the main ruins quest he says something similar to before, but doesn't go hostile.

ok I found the maleficarum, they were a little further along the path, they weren't there the first time I went thru the area.



Anyone know about the places of power? I haven't found any yet. I'm not sure what they look like.

Places of power are just locations you come across as you run through an area. Like the landmark tree in lothering?



You have the quest, go to the zone, and look around you'll eventually find a click able. Since you did the Maleficarum you're in the Brecilian forest, I think the one there is in the East part where the Ogre was.

hmm I may have clicked it and not realized it. I don't see any more things I can click using the TAB key.



The wording of the quests makes me think some may be activated. Sometimes quests descriptions don't say what ones you have done already. I hate that. So let me head to the last couple areas and see if I can get a quest complete.
