Enemies are weaker on the PC version, not stronger. There are many more of them though, yes.
Has anyone here actually tried playing the PC version, hotbar UI and all, using a controller? I wonder how that works out.
Dragon Age for Xbox or PC?

If the game supports the 360 controller, I could test it, that said, I have little desire to play Dragon Age with a controller

As I don't haver a pC i had to get it for the 360 and I have become quite good at micromanaging everything with the controller, I play just as I would play on the pc, granted it is a bit more cumbersome, but not as much as you may think. But if you have a powerful enough PC get that version because of the toolset.

I haven't played the xbox version, but I would probably recommend the PC, inasmuch as the game was originally developed for the PC before being ported over to consoles, and you'll have access to tons more mods/adventures/etc that are done by other people in the toolset.
(note - I'm not one of those 'PCs are always the way to go!!!' guys - I used to be, but stopped being one around the time Bioshock came out and I got it for the 360 and not the PC - had a blast playing it on the big screen, and have been more-or-less neutral about the system games are played on in general as a result. I do prefer PCs for most RPGs, though).

so the bottom line is --if you like to sit on the couch and use a contoller--console.
If you want a great experience, control, graphics and just more fun, challenge and fun--PC.
It's pretty lame when consoles only redeeming feature is --I can sit on my couch. LMAO.

Well, you also get the giant 52" screen, the Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound setup, etc.

Its funny how this stuff never seems to get through...
A PC can be connected to pretty much any A/V setup out there (specifically anything using HDMI). I have mine connected to a 22" monitor for general use, a 60" TV for gaming, and a 120" projector for co-op/multiplayer/movies. They are all also connected to a 7.2 surround sound system (DTS, DTS HD, Dolby True HD, etc). Anything my 360 connects to, so does my PC.
To use a controller on your PC, grab a wired Xbox 360 controller, and plug it in to a USB port. Vista will find the drivers automatically, and off you go! To use wireless, go here, which frequently goes on sale for less than $40.00
The reality of it is, get the system which has the exclusives you want. PC has an obvious advantage in graphics, and functionality, but some games just dont come to it (uncharted 2, i.e.) or are released at a later date. However, getting back on topic, Dragon Age is substantially better on the PC. I was most dissapointed in the graphics on the console, the rest was relatively negligible in comparison.
I realize the thread has been dead for a few days, wasnt able to get back before now

I'm glad I have it on a console(PS3) from the posts I've read here, it doesn't have any of the tech issues the PC version does.

Not a troll, just stating a fact. I`ve been playing video games probably longer than you`ve been alive. And they just cant compete with anything not "twitch and shoot"
