I bet that's Bailey.
Indeed, he looks a hell of a lot like (a younger) Bailey
Maybe we get to play him going on some Alliance Navy mission

You are grossly exaggerating. I don't see anyone asking for multiplayer, but there's no intelligent argument against having an extra feature that nobody is forcing you to play, if they think they need it to continue growing the franchise's playerbase and keep people coming back to the game to continue buying their DLC offerings.Mesina2 wrote...
I think one of the biggest demands from Mass Effect fans is no multiplayer in ME3. If there is gonna be multiplayer that is ME related then it will be it's own game.
A spin-off game is just going to get buried by the superior sci-fi shooters out there. Especially if there's no Sheperd and the Reaper story isn't advanced. Even if it does well, it becomes a pointless exercise if BioWare can't lure those new players over to ME3 because people "demanded" there be no multiplayer.

Probably a multiplayer spin-off but let's hoping it doesn't come off as a generic shooter and they actually make something special.

Yep. I'm getting a bit tired of the shooters trying to copy Call of Duty.

It's a military guy, aiming out of a broken window with a gun.
That only narrows it down to every FPS ever made.

You are now aware that the guy in the trailer has a massive neck and ear. Presumably ears.

I think it is an ME2 expansion that will help 'bridge' the gap and leaves us with foreshadowing of how ME3 is going to start.
Alliance wanting to sever all ties with Cerberus, big mass assault on a base where TIM is alleged to be, Shep at this point gets chance to pick which side they are on. Some squadmates won't want to be on side so will leave, some will respect Shep's wishes and stay no matter what side, guy in window is going to be either a boss character who Shep faces or someone who could be potential ally of Shep's in Expansion and potentially ME3. Voiced by Michael Madsen (who he looks a lot like). I doubt we'll see anything ME3 related until after January. They'll also announce that this particular expansion will be available in the CE of ME2 for PS3 as well as GotY edition for PC/360.
That is my prediction anyway. Just a hunch, sometimes hunch pays off sometimes it doesn't.

I've heard that they will be releasing a game that takes place in the Mass Effect universe but it will play like a Modern Warfare game. Could be really cool.
True but two things to consider, you've got players wanting to be able to distance themselves from Cerberus and get back with the Alliance (this would allow it... and yet still have it possible for Shep to be on trial at the start of ME3) and then there is also the case that some people in the Alliance could see this as a way for Shepard to get some of the 'vultures' off his back by proving his loyalty to the Alliance (Hackett, Anderson, Ash/Kai).Mesina2 wrote...
If is true it I don't think there will be choice of joining Alliance against Cerberus.
Since Shepard is very connected to Cerberus I think Alliance would try to remove him/her too.
