Sorry to yell but this is ridiculous. I truly hope the
mods read this. I also hope this doesn’t come off as just a rant. I love the game
and would be all happy and bubbly in my new found joy, but for the fact that I
purchased the digital collectors addition and have been unable to get any of
the DLC to work.

I have spent at least 4.5 hours researching and working at my PC, trying in vain
to get the DLC to show up on my account. I have read the help guides....by the
way it speaks volumes that the only decent help in this area has been created
by the community, the stuff BIOWARE has brought forth was basicaly useless (for me at least). HemisH shouldn’t have to
be fixing BIOWARES problems. It is very nice of him though!

My issues seem to lie in an inability to get DAUpdaterSvc
to run. To be honest I am no PC expert but I am no hack either. I have tried to
follow the DLC help guide, but at this point have given up. I would rather
spend my time playing DAO than wresting with something that should have worked from
the get go. I would like to be able to access the additional game content, not
only the stuff I have already paid for, but future releases as well.

Is BIOWARE working to remedy this situation? Could it be
fixed via the next patch? The current situation is really unacceptable. There
should be a sticky here from BIOWARE explaining their understanding of these
issues, and what THEY are doing to fix them. I know there is a lame sticky on
the other site, but it really doesn’t even scratch the surface regarding the
extent of issues encounter with the DLC (just look at how long MemisH’s guide
is).

BIOWARE, love you for the amazing game, but shame on yuo for this
DLC clusterf**k.

P.S. if the solution requires an IT professional to
implement it’s not a solution. Whatever the fix is it needs to be simple enough
for any slob to carry out.
