With either paragon, netural or renegade responses would be cool. It wouln't have to be all emails but it would be nice to have.

I would love to be able to reply to emails. Some of them were brilliant. Especially the weird spam ones

Yeah only way I could see it happening would be something maybe akin to AP, would be neat. Would've been fun to send back a flirty response to Emily Wong's email or maybe one to Toombs stating a time and place where he could meet up again and this time Shep will put him where he belongs (incinerated)

"Shepard! I was just waxing goddamn nostalgic. Good times going after the Collectors. Love, Zaeed." Click Save.
"Commander Shepard. The Collector Base is proving to be quite useful. However, one of our research stations working on modifying the Seeker Swarms has gone silent. I need you to uncover their data. Love, Mr. Illusive." Reply: The Reapers are coming. Fix the problem yourself.

"Commander Shepard, I don't expect you to remember me, but you used your Spectre status one time to help me get past Citadel Security and off the station. Being off their watch list has done wonders in letting me travel freely to conduct my business in the red sand trade most efficiently. I have transferred 50,000 credits to your account. A small token of my syndicate's gratitude." Send: Purchase automatic fish feeder from Morlan's Famous Shop for 50,000 credits.
"To Commander Shepard: Your request to reclaim your apartment on Intai'sei is denied. Bare in mind that Spectre status does not exclude you from payment on property taxes to your estate, for which you were overdue for 2 years, 3 months, and 12 days. Sincerely: Alliance Tax Office." Send: Jack. I have a job for you...
If they don't use emails as a cheap method to reflect previous decisions in ME3, I suppose I wouldn't mind them staying in the game.

Maybe even incorporate the option to send emails to other players over the cerberus network or somesuch similar thing?
Because having to go into the guide is too much of a hassle.

I could definitely see Zaeed sending you emails constantly out of boredom, talking about his life on whatever garden world he retires to, watching future-Lawrence Welk, tinkering around with Jessie, yelling at kids to get off his lawn, etc. Oh, and each would contain one of his old stories that he "forgot" to tell you in ME2. And even if they get old and you send a reply asking him to stop, he'll keep sending them. And you could get the emails regardless of Zaeed's situation in your playthrough, whether you recruited him or not, even if he's dead.
I wonder who else would work... Grunt could send Purple Prose filled tales of his exploits on Tuchanka, and then start debating the philosophical undertones of The Old Man and the Sea. Or Samara could talk about her recent kills as a Justicar, and if you're a renegade you get a reminder at the end of each one that she may have to kill you if you ever meet again. Thane's could be sweet, he could talk about getting to know his son.

I'd rather they just drop the e-mail thing and go back to calls in comm rooms/voice chats. I always imagined in ME1 when Hackett was talking it was showing a live feed from Hackett's HQ at a space station or the flagship of a fleet.

If I have to be stuck w/ email trolling I’d like to respond to my emailers and in some cases have several emails going back and forth.

Alpha Protocol was a mediocre game overall, but it does have a few things it really nailed. The conversations and emails were some of those things.
