Just saw the announcement on Facebook.  Im out of the running because I dont want any part of the guaranteed bull**** that is going to take place, but Im surprised that FB of all places has an announcement already, and there is no mention here.  maybe I overlooked the post/thread.  Good luck to those who want them/get them

The whole mass announcement on FB of all places has left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth about the litho's. They are already in high demand and limited availability. The Ebay snipers already have their claws at the ready. Just seems like a cash grab at this point. They sold out when they were not mentioned on Twitter/FB, it just took a bit longer and the fans were able to get their hands on one. I had a good run, but unless something amazing is released, Im out of the litho game at this point.

Announcing it on facebook like this is annoying, but not a whole lot you can do. BioWare's interest is in making it available to as wide of an audience as possible. A few of us have suggested a type of "preferred customer" list, but the suggestion was greeted with open hostility by other forum members.



However, you're not out of the running...you have the same opportunity as anyone else.

Yea, I know Im not out of the running by default. Im out by choice. I hate the feeding frenzy that is created by mass announcements of an extremely limited product. F5 mashing does nothing positive for my mood

Sorry, I cant help but LOL.  I have heard people on Xbox Live accusing people of having Wallmart internet, but African Internet could be the next thing!

I'm sure if you bring it up with Jedi he might consider it. I haven't seen any official word from him so you may as well give it a shot when he comes back from his honeymoon

Its posted in the ME announcements section aswell, I'm guessing alot of people are going too miss this. A days notice and no official words in this forum combined with a different release day them normal. Going to be alot of unhappy people i bet.

I've been following these things around waiting to get my hands on two of them since they started selling the three pack. I'm a bit confused though, FB says 11:00 am MDT, which is odd. Isn't MDT only used during the summer months? Are we talking 9 or 10 Pacific?

We Americans can't keep track of our own time system...it's hard to keep track of if it's daylight savings time...Here in CO in the summer it's usually light out from 7am until 9pm. In the winter, it's closer to 10am until 4:30 pm. I imagine it's even worse in Edmonton.

So, you're right...he should have said MST.

Edit: I also want to ask. If you bought your lithos in the first or second wave presale sale thing, will you get them numbered sub 100 and sub 200 respectively, or are they all released at once at random?

numbers are random. They aren't really shipped with lower numbers for earlier orders which is why I thought the pre-sales were pointless. No bonus/discount for getting it early. Good for bioware though cause they got your money earlier.

This was correct when the 3-pack was released, but MDT should have ended on November's first Sunday. So I'm confused there as well. I'd check at both times.

There were several people complaining about having missed previous releases because they weren't even aware of a release - simply because it wasn't announced that big: mainly on the forums, not always on all forums, rarely on Twitter. I guess, they're trying to improve information politics by announcing it on FB.

I would read 11 am MDT as 11 am in Colorado. So if you're in EST, that's 1:00.

Note, i've just created a thread for anyone who wants to discuss the buying of the lithos at the times they come on sale, as in the lithograph race. It may remain completely empty, but it's there if people want to post on it. Just a note

I can't complain here. Jack, Citadel, Normandy and Purgatory Cells (from lowest to highest) have 2-digit-numbers. No single-digit (no surprise there). I doubt that my 3-pack will be lower. - Only DA:O's demons are.



PS: The highest surprisingly is Korlus though it sold pretty slow.

That's too bad. My numbers have been going down with each lithograph I order. The last one (Nomandy) is 2/500.

This just sucked. I didn't know about this until I dropped by the store. I've been checking the twitter accounts every day and nothing about this show up there (considering everything else was advertised there).



It is just not on that it was only posted on Facebook.

I kind of hope they don't start filling the first ordered with the lowest numbers. This discussion already happened a while ago, and the random system was preferred by many people, me included. Who was talking about an equal chance...?

I agree erik. Random selection would definately make things equal. And I'm sorry to hear that Telv. I've had Twitter and Facebook linked to my phone for the past 3 weeks waiting for this...it will be nice to uninstall them and not get annoyed every 5 minutes.
