I'd say that's pretty damning evidence. I can't wait!
EDIT: This is not the theory stuff about that clip. This is a message from Sony Russia confirming ME3 footage at the VGA's

Why? You should pick up the series. Everything BioWare makes is great.Capt. Obvious wrote...
I guess I'm just upset because I don't play any Mass Effect games.

I'm still hoping it's not just ME3. At very least, a different game in the ME universe. A teaser/announcement trailer for ME3 would be VERY anti-climatic...since we already know it's coming.

So from what I gather we're going back in time to the blitz?THEDIRECTOR wrote...
Personally, looking at the clues that Bioware has been posting on the facebook/ twitter pages, i think the game is Mass Effect, but a PREQUEL. as we know its bases on EARTH and now the THE CLASH album cover, points to LONDON. and if you remember correctly, Shepard for the involved with the THE BLITZ....... which as we know was an real event in 1940, during the 2nd world war.
need i say more.

I agree. It would make the story just a whole "Wtf" moment. Not that I don't like stories like Back to the Future and all, but that's just too much crap for a story like Mass Effect's. And many other things too.Busomjack wrote...
Man, I really hope Mass Effect doesn't do the whole time travel thing with it's storyline. Personally I hate time travel storylines. Even the good ones like Terminator are still pretty bad and filled with paradoxes and plot holes.

If it is ME3 I hope it is an anouncement that it will be out in 2012... just so they have an extra year to make it more amazing. I like the idea of games NOT coming out every year with a new sequel that just possesses a bunch of recycled models and mechanics. I wish for the same level of improvement ME2 had over ME1. I think ME1 was out in '07 and ME2 came out in 2010. That is enough time to make a good game simply breath taking as in ME2.
Also, as much freedom as you have in this series, I am enthralled with the amount of freedom in another series I am a big fan of... Fallout. If they could do that to a ME game and not take away from anything else in the game that would be sweet. But I do realize that Mass Effect is more about how the player gets to the conclusion that the writers want, not about letting the player choose how they want to end the game.
I like both approaches just thought it would be really interesting if Shephard could kill Aria and take over Omega for himself. Or hunt down the Illusive Man and take over/destroy Cerberus. What if Shephard could join the Shadow Broker and stab Liara in the back? Or get the Shadow Broker to loan him an agent to join Shephard's team? The possibillities are endless.
I figure if you're gonna be able to go the renegade route, you should be able to go all the way, instead of being forced to be the guy that's a hero but is a huge d**k about how he saves the galaxy.

Just because Sony says it doesn't make it true.
