Well, on the one hand they could've handled it better with their communication. On the other, they do seem to be learning fast, especially after the carry on surrounding the Normandy litho's sale, so although it's frustrating, I think they're doing their best. Which is scant consolation for those who got caught out with slow card processing or inconvenient times, but I think they are making the effort, which counts for something.RedTracer7 wrote...
Doesn't mean they can't give good customer service. If this was a real store, I'd have burnt it down by now.

$13.20 for lithos (I think it's the same rate for multiple lithographs in the same order) which is about £8 these days I think, though I haven't been following the exchange rate. Not a bad price all things considered - I've frequently paid far more (by which I don't mean those who really charge rip-off prices like TFAW).Madcat46 wrote...
so, what does bioware tack on for shipping to the UK anyways?

Though I'd *like* to remove Thane from my 3, stick the other Tali in there for one price and delivery charge, you can never have enough Tali afterall, you can also have a Grunt, but Thane? Meh.

I used a VISA credit card. I've had problems with Paypal before so I didn't use it this time.
I used PayPal, because they have everything on file for me (shipping address, credit card info) with just one click. Is probably why I got thru this morning (first round). Just sayin'.

Can't remember the duty threshold offhand, but even though it's absurdly low, it's still enough that you don't always end up having to pay.Evil_Sarevok wrote...
I'm still considering whether to keep my 3 pack and the single, or get rid of the three pack for the single - and yeah its $13.20 for UK shipping, not sure how they'll try to bleed it on import tax though, since I assume they will.
One thing to bear in mind is the couriers' brokerage charges, which vary between different couriers and are often seemingly random with the same courier. Anyway, the point is if you find a courier is demanding a brokerage fee, clearance charge or whatever they want to call it, challenge it: it's a bit of a legal grey area but they're not allowed to enforce the charge, especially not if they try to hold your parcel to ransom until it's paid. I've succeeded in getting it refunded every time I've asked, though some of them need more asking than others. Obviously you can't avoid paying duty and import taxes if they're levied but you can avoid these nasty brokerage fees (which is as well since they often amount to more than the duty & tax anyway).

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know where to find these pictures in a higher resolution?
Yeah, basically what you do is you buy one and scan it.
C'mon, man, you gotta know they're not going to put out high res digital versions of the pictures they're trying to sell for 40 bucks a pop. ;p
Edit: Also, got a Tali! Ordered through paypal. It was super laggy, but apparently it processed and went through in time, because I got confirmation on the order as well as confirmation on the payment processing.

ever consider going to a format where once it's in your cart, it's yours for a certain time (i.e. 10 min)? seems like that might make too much sense.

Agreed. I was lucky enough to be able to get one this morning but the way things operate now its basically the equivalent of allowing 100 people to queue up then opening the doors and letting them trample each other on the way to the 'quantities limited' item in question. AFAIK Best Buy, Future Shop, Amazon, etc. allow you to keep adding items into your cart and continue shopping, essentially deducting the item in your cart from their overall total until you either check out or an appropriate amount of time goes by without you refreshing the page or going to the checkout.
Bioware should also be much more proactive on people purchasing more than one lithograph of the same type, even with different Bioware store account names on the same IP address. I know you can't 100% eliminate it but make it as difficult as possible. The limit of 1 per account was a step in the right direction but hopefully they will continue to refine the process to make it more fair.
Just wait till the Liara lithograph is announced hehe:P

Very well said! I too was lucky enough to get a Tali work this morning, but it's strange people can de facto swipe an item from your shopping basket, as it were, whilst you're in the process of ordering.
Also, were it up to me, as to those folks who ordered 2 or more Tali lithos (either directly, or thru some browser cache exploit), I would have all their orders canceled (and not just the surplus quantity). Better, of course, would be simply change the cart software so it won't accept a higher quantity than you're allowed to order.

even if i couldn't get one (was on the final screen still 7:00, clicked pay with paypal and sat there for 9 minutes waiting for it to go through, and then finally it reloaded and said they were out) this will hopefully show the overwhelming popularity of tali so they include her in me3

I was lucky enough to get a Tali lithograph; hopefully they will make mini-lithos for those who were unable to purchase the regular Tali lithograph.

It amazes me though on the Tali popularity though, considering I have not seen the Grunt or Thane ones sold out yet...

Anyway, missed my oppurtunity for a litho seeing as I missed the early sale and the next one here was at midnight (so screw that). Will definitely get at least one of these as a mini litho though.
