For some reason I cant do anything, I can restart the mission (IM in the unkown area: aka on the top of the shadow broker's ship), I cant load the auto save and I cant load the quick save either.

Im royally screwed

What happens when you try to load autosave? Any error message?



The save may be corrupt, so just restart the mission, if you are at the ship already, you will not lose much time either.

I cant load the auto, teh quick or even restart the mission.



No error message, nothing.to confirm whats going on. To make it worse I hadnt been making any other saves and I was up to the Legion recruiting mission x.x



I really DO NOT want to start over again.

Then maybe try opening that autosave with gibbed save editor, and just save it as a regular save (using the gibbed editor) and see if it works. I am not sure if gibbed will open an autosave, and I can't try it on this computer, but it is worth a shot I think.

The integrity of data stored on your machine is solely your responsibility. If you have not been making regular backups, and multiple saves, then that is your fault, and noone elses.

You mentioned in one post you were on top of the SB ship, and in another you were recruiting Legion. Which is it?

No, I said you are the one who is responsible for the safety and intergrity of whatever data you care to store on your PC. If you didnt make multiple saves, and relied solely on the auto and quicksave, then you have noone to blame but yourself. Its the golden rule of computing. Always make multiple backups of the information you value the most.

If I'm reading this right, you were about to go get Legion, when the installation of the DLC corrupted your save, and transported you to on top of the SB ship?

try to start new game with a diffrent character, then pause the game and try to load game with your main character from there. it helps me :/

I think what he's trying to say is that he's at the point in the main story where he is able to begin the mission to recruit Legion. However, he chose to play the Shadow Broker DLC first, and ran into his problem.

I actually just ran into the same problem, myself. I was at the part of the DLC where you're on the ship and holding off waves of enemies from three different directions while Liara breaks into the ship. Once I was near what appeared to be the end of the fight, my game crashed; I closed out, started back up, and my save games say that I'm in an Unknown Area and won't load. No error message or anything, just nothing happens if I load them or click Resume.

I have a few saves on this playthrough, including one right before I started the DLC, but I don't particularly want to do the entire mission over again when I was pretty close to the end, especially if I run into the same problem. I noticed someone mentioning this issue in this thread about another common crashing issue that seems to stem from installing the DLC I ran into: http://social.biowar...index/4763858/2

I haven't had any luck so far on finding a solution. The DLC's awesome, but appears to be causing a lot of issues. :/

EDIT: I used Greatfield's suggestion, and it seems to have worked. I loaded another one of my careers, ran around for a minute, then hit escape and loaded up my Shadow Broker save on my other career. Worked like a charm.Given, I haven't tried completing it yet, but here's to hoping.

New problem caused by this AMAZING dlc

Liana is on the ship with me when I start a new game and I cant get out of the first rooma fter being revived

Can someone tell me how to delete this POS dlc so i can at least play again?
