Rumor!  Ruuumor!  Get'cha hot, sloppy, sexy-sexy rumor!

Supposedly a direct sequel to Oblivion.

Supposedly going to use a hopped up version of the Fallout 3 engine.

Supposedly going to feature an all female cast of hot chicks.  (I made this up.)

Personally, I'm psyched.  I love BioWare games for tight stories and the focused combat.... and I love Bethesda games for the wide open story and wanderlust gameplay.  Damn shame they don't do romances, but I can forgive them.  I can't freaking wait!

I wonder if they planned this to leak before the VGAs?   :P

Count me as officially psyched.

LOL Can't believe I'm going to be watching the VGAs for the flipping commercials.

Here's to hoping they got off their backsides and actually learnt how to use the damned engine.

I've never watched anything to do with video games on TV... until 12/11/10. I'm tuning in just for the BioWare announcement (ME3!), but I will sure as hell be watching for ESV.

I do hope they at least patched up some of the old bugs, heh, and maybe spent sometime on the face generator.

Can't wait!

It will be a new engine.

''According to Gaming Business Review, Emergent Game Technologies, the company that developed the Gamebryo engine used in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, is in deep financial trouble and has been forced to liquidate its assets.''

If the story-telling improvements from Daggerfall through Fallout 3 continue, I am excited about this.

I think it's about time to let the Gambryo engine die.

I just heard that they built their own engine and that they will record voice actors soon.

Was reading about a new book from Greg Keyes, that says it party bridges the gap from Oblivion by 200 years, to the next game, the comment was also on Waterstone website, both have been removed, tho can find the quote on TES Nexus forum, since i been playing alot, and loving Oblivion, i do hope that it's desided to show/post info about it, hell i don't mind waiting 2 years before it comes out, aslong as i know it is coming out.

I think OP was suggesting that, like BioWare, they were probably going to announce it then to get the biggest bang for their buck and was wondering if they meant to have this info come out before then... so very related by a slight tangent of thinking LOL

I never completed Oblivion, it was too big. I spent about 70hrs playing and dont feel like I was actually getting anywhere. I closed a few gates, but a short walk down the road there was yet another one.

However the start of the game and building up your charecter during the first few levels was great fun.  Depending on the changes thats made in Elder Scroll V then I think I will really like the next installment.

long ago, I shut down all of the hell-gates and I did something about a dragon in the capital, also Martin septim ... I won, but I lost my save files, and I haven't finished it again :o
