My wishlist for this game
1. No/way less level-scaling. It was actually easier to finish the game early level than it was at a late level. I think it's important to make you gradually feel stronger as you level up, not the other way around.
2. Less copy paste zones. Just about every cave looked about vertically identical,
3. Less repetitive. Going through those oblivion-gates over and over became very repetitive, just turned on easy after a while and rushed through them.
4. Hire more voice actors. Fallout 3 and Oblivion had around 15 voice actors to do all those different characters. New Vegas for instance, had over twice as many.
Agree with all of this.

can someone explain what the narrator was saying at the end of the trailer? All i heard was "rabble rabble rabble cough splutter splutter DRAGONBORN!!!"
You mean Dovahkiin?
The narrator's explaining practically the end of the world. "They," whoever they are, are fighting the Nords. But, in all of that chaos, the hero of the Empire's going to appear. "Dragonborn," the title used for Tiber Septim and his descendants. Likely, he's the guy with the real mandate to conquer all of Tamriel.
Most people speculate "they" as the dragons, the Akaviri, or Alduin because of the dragons you see. But, it could just be about anyone or everyone.

Something about how they should have been prepared for what was coming because it was in the elder scrolls or some ****.

The transcript is up on UESP.net or a couple pages back in this thread. Though it has the old spelling, until I fix it.

And Bethesda just tweeted this about the engine for Skyrim:Seeing lots of speculation about #tesv game engine. It's brand new... and it's spectacular!
Not that you'd expect them to say it looks like crap or anything, but it would seem its not just a slight modification of Gamebryo necessarily.
Nice! I have to add them. The old engine was... old. I'm hoping they include things like jiggle physics this time around.
I wonder if the background of the TESV announcement at the VGAs was in game?

In Morrowind, you wake up on a ship with no memory. In Oblivion, you wake up in prison with no memory. Any thoughts on where the character is going to wake up next? I say, tavern.
Brothel. One can hope.

You should have acted.
They're already here.
The Elder Scrolls told of their return.
Their defeat was merely delay
Til the time after Oblivion opened,
When the sons of Skyrim would spill their own blood.
But no-one wanted to believe.
Believe they even existed.
And when the truth finally dawns:
It dawns in fire.
But,
There's one they fear.
In their tongue, he's Dovahkiin: Dragon Born!

From what I understand neither the nerevarine nor the champion of Cyrodil had amnesia.Gnas wrote...
It wouldn't be TES if you don't have amnesia. LOL
The game's simply chose to not give you a background and left that up to the player's imagination.

Morrowind was all "I'm on a boat with no tickets to that place you like. Look away, look back, the boat is now diamonds! Anything is possible when you smell like mudcrab!" (Yes, that was bad)
Oblivion was very much "Oh, bugger, I'm in prison. Why am I in prison?"

You leap into the fight, greatsword swinging as your Apostate sister Bethany unleashes a fireball...
Err...did I get that right?
