recently, I sat down to my Xbox 360 after about a week of not using it thinking that I would dig up my copy of Mass Effect 2 and relax.  However, when I attempted to insert the disc into the drive, all I got was a choppy whirring noise that got faster and faster until it became a drawn out whine.  At first I thought it was beeping, but then relized it was a whirring noise.  A message popped up on the screen that said the disc was dirty and unreadable.  So I cleaned off the disc, but still got the same problem.  However, this time it didn't not say the disc was dirty.  The console just said "Reading" then "Open Tray" like there wasn't a disk in there at all.  I tried all my other games and got the same problem every time.  when I put my hand on the console as it tries to read the disk, it is very shuddery.  I called Microsoft tech support and got a call center in India that wasn't very helpful.  Maybe some techies around here can do better?
