Has anyone created a proper crossbow animation for creatures that use the 'dogleg' skeleton?
At the moment I'm using a renamed spear-thrust animation. Although it's better than having the creature seem to be throwing the bolts, it tends to look like my sahuagin archers are trying to curve the shot like Angelina Jolie in 'Wanted'.
If there's a better animation floating about out there, then I'd rather not have to reinvent the wheel.

No additional animations for Dog leg skeleton that I know of. I don't think any one has ever gotten around to recreating the skeleton.

Just think of all those poor kobolds, lizardmen and gnolls who will never know the joys of owning a crossbow. It almost brings a tear to the eye.
I suppose I'll have to make do with the spear thrust, since it's the only existing dogleg animation that doesn't look completely ridiculous when holding or using a crossbow. I'm surprised this issue hasn't come up before though.

No-one, not even Developers gives a hang or cares about the so called Lesser Races. Sad, but true.

Doesn't mean they couldn't use more 'love' as regards their animation, though. And Scum? Isn't that a strong word for such a weak race? Maybe vermin is more apropos?

Scum? I was quite fond of Deekin in NWN:SoU. Then again, *he* could use a crossbow. Perhaps he was some sort of uber-kobold.
