 So I am quite aware that you can load an assault rifle over your heavy weapon or other weapon slot. However, on a soldier which already has a assault rifle slot, can a second, different assault rifle be loaded on over the heavy weapon. Basically, has anyone gotten it to work so that a character can carry two different weapons of the same class (ex. mattock and revenant) at the same time?

I dont think you can load an Assault rifle over your heavy weapon. But I had the collector's assault rifle and picked up a different rifle and then my shotgun was gone, so yeah I guess it's possible.
