Creature Not Showing Up In Game When Party Is Present

 This is a weird problem that I've not seen before.  I'm hoping someone can shed light on this:

I have a creature in my module that is using the RWS Purple Worm as an appearance and I have it placed in an area for the player to fight.  Simple and straight forward so far...

The creature is there in the toolset and in game it appears as normal as long as I do not have a party (I'm using the SoZ party system for the module).  If I'm alone, the monster is there and I can fight it as planned.  If I go in with a party, the creature is not there.  

Anyone have any ideas as to why this would be happening?

... that is a weird one, dont have a clue unfortunately since you say it appears alone, but not with a party. Is there some encounter scripting that is changing things, say for a solo player it spawns creature, but for more than one its spawning something else that hasnt been set yet? (if that makes sense), although it sounds like you have it as a hand placed creature so it SHOULD appear regardless really... thats an oddity.



Tried having it spawned in at a waypoint in the area when a character enters the area rather than hand placed in the toolset?.. might work as a kludge, and might help narrow things down a little.

Phantasma: Hmm I don't see why the spawning behaviour should change if there are party members, perhaps you should check the trigger you have near the entrance of the area and make it register for PC's only (not for npc's. The issue may be that you have some important event fire for an npc (the party member) rather than the pc.

The only event firing is the launching of a conversation. Is there anything in the talktrigger that could cause such a thing?

Is it only an RWS skin on the blueprint that causes the issue?

Ok, I've confirmed that it's the trigger SpeakTrigger at the area entrance that is causing the creature not to spawn. Having the variable CombatCutscene set to 1 was causing the issue. All fixed.
