Wow wait a minute, who is this "guy" you're talking about? Are you people saying someone is manipulating the polls behind the scenes?

There's some guy named Husky, whose a popular commentator for SC2, who told his fans to vote for SC2 in this Deathmatch thing.

ACB was close to winning out against Starcraft until Husky said something. Now, ACB is getting slaughtered and a lot of "Husketeers" are spamming up both comments pages with nonsense.

I don't hate the guy, I just think his fans are a bunch of morons.

But I guess that isn't too uncommon on a Blizzard game. :/

But this could go one of two ways: ME2 will simply get slaughtered, or in a fit of nerd rage, the console gamers all vote against SC2 and allow ME2 to win.

That's the way I see it, anyway.
Unless there's some popular ME2 commentator who can rally support over the internet.

Supposedly from what I hear people saying, they believe Husky followers somehow put in more than one vote per person. I'll call bull on that accusation. BUT-

This is what happens when an unbiased poll suddenly becomes biased.

Husky

We need someone like Capitan Anderson ...

Mass Effect fans are ready to do their part, united we have the strength to overcome any challenge, When the SC2 fanboys come we must stand side by side! We mus fight against them as one, and together we will drive them back to their SC world!

I hear a lot of that too.

I hope ME2 fans aren't resorting to the same low tactic.

Supposedly, if you have a facebook account, you can vote without signing up to G4TV's site.

By the way, Husky video is here, for those who haven't seen why everyone is complaining at the biased voting-

I'm gonna vote StarCraft II in the final round. I play both games on the PC and love them, but BioWare didn't polish the PC version enough to earn my vote. Mass Effect 2 has blurry textures, missing skyboxes, texture clipping, etc. and it hurts the game a lot. I love Mass Effect 2 and it would have gotten my vote if Bioware had included menu hotkeys as so many people have requested since launch day.

Here's my question- How can you justify a PC game as a SPORT!?

It takes no physical effort whatsoever. But whatever, I don't care for their justifications.

It's still wrong. And the spamming they're doing is atrocious.

A contest, yes. But a sport... that's just wrong from my PoV.
Playing games for fun was dismissed via air quotes at Blizzard a long time ago.

It's often considered the national sport of South-Korea but they just call it that because it's more popular than any real sport so it's basically an often used joke. In this context "sport" is often put between quotation marks.

Ah yes, "sport."

Well, needless to say, there is no way it'll be ME2 vs. ACB for the finals.

Kind of fits Korea's style of gaming.

Grind hours and hours and hours just for minimal gain.

Lol RTS games.

But seriously, RTS games are kind of a grind after a while.

Funny thing is, out of the 4 games left, 3 of them are Sci-Fi.

In a way, the Desmond/Animus sections sure are.

So, in part.

I dislike these types of things... It brings out all the die-hard fanboys that have never played the other games. I know a friend who keeps voting for AC:B because its his "favorite series of all time" and then I asked him if he'd played Mario Galaxy 2, SC2, ME2, RDR, etc. Got a big no to all of them -.-

I've played most of the games on there and can honestly say, SC2 > AC:B and ME2 > RDR. Also, Mario Galaxy should've been higher, along with Dragon Quest IX and Civ 5.

While the core gameplay takes place as an assassin from the past, the core STORY takes place in the modern day, and even playing the assassin requires a sci-fi explanation.

So yeah, its sci-fi. People have deemed it so.

AFAIK this is public poll and people/fanboys are voting for their favourite game. Just stop being crybabies it is just ridiculous. So ME2 won't win...does it make it worse game for you or what? If ME2 can't gather enough votes from fans then it is a pity but that is all. Deal with it and don't try to blame bad circumstances...but if it makes your life somehow easier

^That assumes people are crying. If anything, people are just annoyed that everyone was partaking in an unbiased poll which has now taken a completely biased turn.

If anything, I'd suggest you relax as well as anyone who's getting antsy over it.

That includes every single SC2 spammer who's pissing off the folks commenting over on G4's website.
