I was decent at NWN modding, oh... about 7 years ago. It's all dusty
now. I am hosting a reunion and a LAN party. I will be using several
mods that I have DL'd, and a little of my own. But, what I would love
to get is a script that does the following (or an approximation):

When
a player dies, he collapses on the ground and has no GUI pop up (no
respawn) at all. That player must be healed (by any means-- kit,
potion, scroll, spell) in order to raise up.

That's pretty meager. Can anyone give me such a script, and tell me how to implement it in each campaign/mod?

Thanks all.

That is basically the death/dying system used by SoZ. There is information on how to do that here: http://nwn2forums.bi...72919&forum=114. This is what I use in my King's Festival campaign and the OC Makeover SoZ Edition.

Thanks, I will load up your mod in the toolset to see if I can figure it all out today.

So, correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the SoZ auto-wake the chars once the battle is over? Is it possible to cause the characters to lie on the ground until someone heals them?

no, it's possible to do what you want and that's how SOZ works.

When you fall on the groupe you are knocked out, and can be healed back, and if you are to much wounded you are dead, and only a resurection spell can make you stand again.

The OC and MotB have everyone pop back up after the fight concludes. Essentially instead of dying, the characters are knocked out until the fight concludes. Thankfully SoZ operates with dying, death, and resurrection instead.
