11/25/10 Daily Deals:
Cities XL 2011 (-25%) $29.99
Deathspank (-33%) $10.04
Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition (-66%) $10.20

If you haven't played Batman then you should buy it while it's so cheap. If you like tower defense games then Defense Grid is one of the best. The indie pack has some good games in it as well. Deathspank is great if you want a hilarious hack and slash RPG.

And Yet it Movies
Gish
Racettear
Jolly Rover
Puzzle Agent
Really surprised how good AYIt is, Racettear is alright but a little too Cheery in some parts, Gish is a decent game in small doses, haven't gotten to the others yet.
Also picked up the Dues Ex games

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (-50%) $14.99
Wings of Prey (-50%) $14.99
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (-50%) $7.49
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City (-66%) $10.20

The King's Bounty pack is a great deal. If you like the Heroes of Might and Magic style of gameplay then you'll love King's Bounty with both expansions. It's currently the best game of that style. How can you pass up L4D2 for $5 if you don't already own it?

So far all I've gotten is Arkham Asylum (And I'm kicking myself for not getting it earlier). It's not been great this year.

I'm still mad/sad about missing the Deus Ex Collection.
That's how I was; Not to mention getting a copy from a decent retailer was either ridiculously expensive (HMV - £35 for the PC. Sod off!) or they just didn't have it in-stock. I liked the demo, sort of, but I'm really glad I dropped the money for it. It's still on sale at GamersGate, though, but it's a little more expensive.Crippledcarny wrote...
I probably should have picked up
Arkham Asylum when it was on sale. Its one of those games that I've been
wanting to play but every time I think about putting money on I just
close my wallet and walk away.

Already got Wings of Prey. It's nice if you like the more arcadey kind of flight sims, otherwise less so.
L4D2 is great fun and worth getting...if you're into MP at least, which sadly isn't something I can manage to get into anymore, and just playing the SP is kind of dull. Its cast of survivors also isn't quite as fun as that of L4D1.
GTA: Episodes from Liberty City...bought the complete edition for £6 from Direct2Drive a week ago, so I'm not getting this now. But anyways, definitely a must buy if you're at all into GTA.
And if like me, you found GTA 4 just a little too dark and serious, then you'll especially love the Ballad of Gay Tony, as it has more of the light-hearted, ridiculous fun like some of the previous GTAs.
Don't care so much about any of the other stuff, though I guess the Lara Croft game could be fun if you're into co-op.
As for Arkham Asylum, don't be silly and play the entire frickin' game with the detective mode view on!

I got the retail Complete edition when it came out. £18 for GTA IV and the Episodes, and they take up a tiny 32GB of disc spaceMorbo wrote...

Yeah, then try downloading that tiny 32GB from Direct2Drive's at times rather unstable servers, the Episodes twice even because of them getting corrupted the first time, and that with a 80GB monthly limit of which you already use some 60GB in a typical month. Fun times assured!OnlyShallow89 wrote...

And to think I already played all of GTA4, and most of TBoGT on Xbox too. But nooooo, I always gotta be a PC user at heart before all else. And of course it just looks soooo much better.
Hmmm, now I need a sale on Mirror's Edge too, so I can get rid of my xbox version of that as well. I want to have Faith in higher fidelity after all!

You should be able to get a retail copy for not much more than a Steam-sale version would be, and if you're lucky it'll have a music disc.Morbo wrote...
