That policy must have changed. I bought Orange Box after already owning HL2 and it let me gift the extra HL2 to a friend.

HL2 and Ep 1 have always been giftable if you have them before getting the Orange Box, as it came out after they did.

I would suspect it's to stop people buying the cheaper Orange Box and giving away games that (on sale) are more expensive than the pack.

Sigh, most Steam sales are at the point now that I either don't want the game or already have it from another Steam sale. I did pick up yesterdays sales on Tomb Raider, Wings of Prey, and luckily their discount counted on all the King's Bounty games, so I got Crossworlds (since I own Armored Princess already) for a whopping $5.

No, but I've heard good things. But then again they've been things like, "Good for an Indie game"
 so who knows, lol. Can't imagine it being too bad for 10$.

I bought it, but haven't been able to play because Steam sent the wrong CD keys to everyone who purchased it today.

Risen sucks, change it to something else, the first 20 hours, are amazing, the rest of it, are essentially, errand boy, and unbalanced fantasy monster battles.

and for the mount and blade series, pretty good, the first one can be a good amount of fun, but the second one (ive only played the demo a few times and heard things) are supposed to add a TON of content and replay value on top of an already good experiance, but be warned, graphics are sub standard, but game play makes up for it.

Yes, so glad Metro got on there. Also that air pack seems awesome. I've been wanting to try out Flotilla for a while now.

Picked up KotOR. Holding out on Metro though. It will most likely pop up in their Xmas sales and I doubt I would get around to playing it before then.
