I have a ticket open with EA/Mythic trying to figure out why I can't register my Warhammer Online account here so that I can post on the now "official" warhammer forums.  Perhaps local website support would be a more appropriate place to get help since after days of working with EA directly help has been clueless, reluctant, slow, etc...

EA Support Reference Number:  101119-015005
(Use this to obtain sensitive information omitted from this post, the email address that I have registered here is the same email address I have registered to my warhammer online master account.)

I log into the game on a regular basis.
The game account username and password that work when I log into the game do not work here when attempting to register my account.  I've taken every precaution with respect to case sensitivity and keyboard functionality.  I've been through all of that already fighting through low level support techs at EA.

The error on this forum, when I click My Games, Register Games (for warhammer online) says that its either an invalid username/password combination (impossible) or the game account is already registered (highly unlikely).

It's highly unlikely that the game account is already registered because I use a highly complex password, which I give to nobody (not even people I've been gaming with for years).  I have years of experience working in IT and understand how to avoid viruses, malware, keyloggers, etc... and how to detect and remove said infections if they occur.  On top of that my account in game hasn't been compromised, so its unlikely that a keylogger would use my information for forum registration without going after in game assets.  In other words I never sold my account and I've never been hacked.

Its also impossible for my account to already be registered because I quit the game before Bioware began hosting the official forums.

My initial theory was that my password was too complex for the form on this website, so I simplified it temporarily to test with an EA technician on the phone helping me troubleshoot.  I set my game account password to "abcd1234" temporarily and tested it.  I could log into the game and play just fine, but I still could not register the account for these forums.  I have since changed the password back.

I'm not really sure why it won't let me register my warhammer online game account here, and it doesn't seem like EA knows much about it either.  I'm hoping that the people who manage this Bioware site might be more qualified to field this support question.

Thanks,

Cheesus of Volkmar

PM sent.

I'm not exactly sure what details you need, so I've kept it as lean as I can.

Please reference the support ticket I have open with EA for more details if that is possible.

Im having this same problem however I haven't filed a ticket yet.

I just downloaded the free trial yesterday and tried to register a forum account today because my patcher is not working. Yesterday I logged into the game just fine with no problems but today the game prompts me for my password and name(I enter them), starts the patcher, and then sits there saying "initializing".
Its not frozen... its just not doing anything.

I wnated to make a thread in the bug section but thats when I found out I cant register my War account. I know my password and lgin name are correct because I can log into my account manegment screen on the warhammer site(and I reset my password just to be sure).

My master and account name is Pilige.

Oh and I tried uninstalling and deleting everything in my warhammer folder and reinstalling but there was no change.

Anyone have any advice?
