Feeling much better now.  Do have to work the 9-5 shift tomorrow during the release of Pokemon Black/White though.  Gonna be a long day.

I'm focusing on having the Normandy crew textures (including Dr. Chakwas) by Monday.  If I can get the formal outfits done in time, I'll be releasing those as well.

Man....everyone globally seems to have some sort of virus / flu thing at the moment.

Wonder if it's related to BioWare's announcements? ^.-

No matter! Glad to hear you're doing better!

Do you plan a quick fix for Chackwas in ME1 like you did with Garrus too? I'd appreciate a lot it... when you'll be fully healed I mean, off course ^__^

I get terrible framerates From 60FPS to 30FPS when in distant areas after using any of these mods. Anyone have any idea why this might be happening.

Note - It is NOT my computer, it is decent enough to run with these mods.

Knosstik: Do you run a ATI card? If so there is your problem. Texmod + ATI card = slowdowns. Its been said several times in this thread alone. If you run a nVidia card then um .. wizards?

I haven't been able to due to school, but I plan on doing multiple tests to methods of improving fps with AMD cards (note: as of the 6xxx series of radeon is out the ATI brand has been removed, so they're now called AMD/Radeon cards). I advise looking back on the posts in this thread as it has a few techniques to improve fps with AMD cards.

Hello everyone, one more update. I know my release schedule has been shoddy over the last few weeks and I do apologize. This week alone is giving me a good 60+ hours of work WITHOUT having to worry about the texture mod. Thankfully, I have vacation next week so I can start getting things done more regularly again.

I promise you that I am still working on the mod and once again I'm sorry for not living up to the "one texture a week" I was aiming for. I will release the next one as soon as I possibly can!

JeanLuc, I wanted to thank you for such an amazing amount of patience, work, and dedication you have made thus far.

I own both the first and second game for pc, but my laptop is vastly underpowered to run either on lowest settings. That being said, I have downloaded all your texture packs in anticipation of the day I upgrade. You go above and beyond spending so much time on a project like this, and I thank you for it.
(don't forget to enjoy your vacation!)

Thanks guys, I was lazy and couldn't be bothered reading through all 25 pages hoping to find a similar problem when often there isn't. It is a 6xxx card so I'm assuming its the ATI/AMD thing... I knew I should have gone with the GTX 560...

*shrug*...I'm playing ME1 four years after release...I'll be playing ME2 for years yet....the fact you're doing this off your own bat in your own time is awesome! Your time is most appreciated, so don't feel rushed!

JeanLuc will update when he is ready to. Just let him work at his pace and he will tell us when he has a new texture ready for us.

And it is here that I finally have some good news.  I will be releasing the next texture today with another texture pack likely for tomorrow.  Finally done with midterms so I have some free time.  Y'know, when I'm not doing a 6-hour sitting of DAII :P

Good to hear.

Any idea when we could see the pack for AAP1 and/or AAP2?

Geez, why can't things just go smoothly?  Textures are mostly done, but now Mass Effect 2 has stopped working.

I'll still have two texture packs out today, but damn it all if this isn't frustrating. <_<

Barring any unexpected occurrences, you can expect this release within the next 3 1/2 hours.  From the bottom of my heart, I thank all of you for your patience over these last couple of weeks; I know the waiting has been tough!

Or you've all been busy playing Dragon Age 2, who knows ;)

Actually, the release of DA2 has me playing DA:Origins again :) Although I'm looking forward to a fresh playthrough of ME2 with all these awesome new textures you're working on. Excellent work so far from what I've seen :)

Alright, finally time for release! This one will replace both Male and Female versions of the Normandy uniforms, as well as Dr. Chakwas' outfit. Enjoy!

Excellent! Thanks as always, JeanLuc761. :D Looking forward to seeing these in my next play through. I'm definitely looking forward to the higher resolution Dr. Chakwas outfit. :D

(though I'll be a bit sad to go back to cerberus uniforms... been using the alliance blue uniform mod lately)

Downloaded. Very nice. Excellent work as usual, JeanLuc

Still looking forward to Miranda's high-res armor, BTW ;)

Very nice, as always.
But could I make a little request(apart from my standard 'Heavy N7 armour please' one)?

As I am using retextured (black) normandy uniforms, and I prefere them to hi-res ones, I want to keep them, but I would like very much to have your hi-res science team uniform(dr Bastilasmother's one). I can double override them(standard uniforms) with tex mod, but that takes memory space needlesly, so could you separate standard cerberus uniforms and science uniforms into 2 different *.tpf files?

I'm a little confused as to what you're asking.  Are you asking if I can separate the Normandy Cerberus uniform from the one that other NPC's wear?  If so, unfortunately it's a "universal" texture.

I think he's asking for Chakwas' uniform to be in a seperate file since he still wants the hi-rez science uniform but not the high rez Cerberus uniform. Get one but not the other.

Fake Edit: Yes, MACharlie1 explained it. Sorry for confusion.
