The 'old' ME1 heavy armour, you wear it on during opening 'mission', but through mods you can use it in game.
I know you asked about it, and if you want I can write a quick tutorial on how to get it working in game.

Yes, I can certainly do a high res version of that.  Still trying to figure out the order I want to do the remaining textures.

JeanLuc, keep them coming. They are great. All of the AAP2 would be awesome. I just finished my new rig and will do a play through with all of the ME2 textures loaded once Arrival comes. To load them all with i7-970 took a few minutes. The playing is fine, krestral with emblem, Tali, and Miranda look outstanding on a mission. 3x480gtx, I've had no problems, a few minutes wait is no big deal, keep them coming. Thanks.

I gotta say folks, it's truly humbling to still see so much support for this project. I still haven't decided which texture comes next, but this is the list of remaining ones (in no particular order).

- Alternate Appearance Pack 1
- Alternate Appearance Pack 2
- Grunt
- Garrus
- Thane
- Samara
- Legion
- Mordin
- Jack
- Zaeed
- Kasumi
- N7 Armor
- N7 Heavy Armor
- Aria
- Mercenary armor
- NPC's

The last three are fairly low priority, but if I get some spare time I'll do it.

Personally, I'd expect the NPC's to be a higher priority just considering the huge number of recycled textures for most of them, and how frequently you see them throughout the game (not to mention, they're often some of the most low-res outfits in the game). Of course, it's your call, but that's just my 2 cents.

Either way, can't wait to see what you do with this project next. I love the new Cerberus outfits.

Just want to say again, thanks so much for the excellent work, JeanLuc761. While you shouldn't feel any pressure from us to continue, since it's your own thing, I do sincerely hope and look forward to you keeping it up.

That said, a big thanks for the Chakwas fix for ME1. Her uniform looks SO MUCH better! I don't know if these low res screen grabs will do it justice, but it's really obvious when talking to her. NICE!

Hm... I have a question to JeanLuc(numbers here):

Do you also do recolours? Or re-textures?

I mean, I like your work, but... If I have to choose between your hi-rez Legion or Insertnameioo's Cerberus Loyalty Project: Legion i will go with Insertnameioo's. Sry. But... if you could do a similar retex(not asking you to do use Insertnameioo's textures, although if he would agree to that...[picture of pure ownage here]) that would be great. I love white, 'Loyal' Legion version, it just owns.

When I do Legion's high resolution texture, I will do that recolor for you (assuming I can get permission from Insertnameioo).

Same.  I think gamefront is having some server issues.

On a slightly related note, I've decided on my next texture.  I hope to have some pics soon.

Man I wish these worked with ATI hardware. If I didn't have so much $$$ wrapped up in an xfire setup I'd switch. Your work is too good to pass up!

Downloaded almost all of them, but when I hit run on texmod it tries to launch ME2 and freezes (ME2 itself freezes). Tried waiting incase it was just loading slow, but it is a hard lockup of the game. Any ideas?

I'm using an ATI card and it works just fine. In fact, even with texmod loading all these additional files it's still far more stable than Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2.

Are you in a CrossfireX setup? If so, that's probably why.

Alright folks, time for a little update. Believe it or not, I'm going to be using some of my high resolution textures in an upcoming assignment for school (due wednesday) so you folks will see at least two textures by then:
1) Either the N7 Heavy armor or the N7 Default armor
2) A high resolution face texture for Default Shepard.

Will update with pics soon!

I'll be doing both regardless, I'm just deciding which would be more appropriate for this project.  I'll keep you all updated.

Alright, here we are. Shepard's face is coming along exceptionally well with high resolution.....everything, really (Scalp and Face are now 2048x2048 with matching diffuse, specular and normal maps).

Only downside is that there's currently a visible seam between the face and the scalp, but I should be able to fix that soon enough.

I'm honestly not sure yet.  If I had an ATI card I'd gladly try and help :(
