I'm not seeing a high-res version of Miranda's AAP2 armor in your to-do list of projects. Have you abandoned that idea?

Not at all. Matter of fact, AAP2 was second on the to-do list. It's all-encompassing, meaning that I'd be releasing high res Tali, Grunt and Miranda all at once.Ieldra2 wrote...

OH HELL YES!!!
As always, your project, your time-table. Don't feel rushed for our sakes. That said, I'm very much looking forward to whatever you put out whenever you put it out.
Best of luck on your project.

Hello again folks, time for a brief update. I have been working on the N7 textures though my time has been fairly limited. Over the next...couple of months, likely, I will continue creating and posting textures, though the intervals between them might be a little...inconsistent. The reason for this is partly due to to school and work, but also heavily due to working on an animation/cinematic project in my spare time. In a bit of serendipity, said project will actually require high resolution textures for Mass Effect 2 assets (most notably Legion, Admiral's uniform, the Normandy, Kasumi and Garrus), so you folks will benefit from this as well.
I shall keep you all apprised.
Weee!
Andmiral's uniform! Since the texture is supposed to be the same for male and female uniforms does it mean that my uniform-wearing Shepard would benefit from this, right?
Also, I would be changing a videocard prior to my ideal ME/ME2 run, and I would certainly get Nvidia this time, to avoid issues with Texmod.

For the ME1 specific ones like the Chakwas and Garrus fixes in this thread, and the Liara LotSB style for ME1 available elsewhere, you do it the same way you do for ME2:mxfox408 wrote...
Does anyone know how to apply the textures to mass effect 1
Use texmod, set Mass Effect 1 as your target program, choose the ME1 textures to load, and click "run".

As example: i had to dug up your awesome high res kestral armor from totaly differend forum
Edit: My bad, the kestral armor mod was on the first post afterall, keep up the good work Jean.
Its a real shame tho that Texmod is one piece of ****
Kills all performance even if i dont load any addons on it.
WTB files that can be installed directly to ME2 just like DLC packets.

That in mind, you'll definitely see the release within a few days (I'm aiming for Tuesday), so keep checking back.
Also, be honest, who else is excited that most of the character textures (that we've seen, anyway) are the same in Mass Effect 3? Day-1 high resolution Texmods for Mass Effect 3? I am a happy guy.

Heh. Well it would be nice if they would just incorporate them straight into the game, as they should be, and give you a kickback (like a free copy of the game) for doing all of the grunt work.JeanLuc761 wrote...

Great work, especially Tali
After bumping into this thread I started playing for the Nth time, but now apart prom the story I can enjoy visuals (not that they were bad for a fast paced action game)
On the side note Your mods inspired me to try and work on my own mods. Fell free to pass judgement on them (for the time being I've uploaded the first one)

I'm looking for the Liara LoTSB texture for use in Me1, i went through the whole thread with no luck, but i swear i remember seeing it, anyone know where i can find it?

Granted, it's not one by JeanLuc, but it looks alright and adds to the continuity across games. Here's an example shot.

The biggest difference should be in the lips, cheeks, and nose, all of which had a pinkish hue in the original. I don't have any really good shots to show it, but you can kind of see it here:Eternz wrote...
hmm see i just loaded jeanlucs liara mod, and well it worked, because that's what my liara looked like, its been a while since i played ME1 but i remember thinking she does look different

That said, I didn't know JeanLuc's mod would straight up work with ME1. If it does, then excellent. I'm going to have to give it a try and see if it's any better than the one I've been using.
