I'm still working on it.  I swear my boss plans it so that I have either work or school (or both) every day :P
Beyond that, the N7 armor has a LOT more textures than I expected (16+) so things are taking much, much longer.

I do have a screenshot though.

Man I wish TexMod didn't mess with my game so much because this looks fantastic.

Keep up the good work and Bioware have to take notice to it.

That N7 is awesome! Despite the obvious benefits to other Armour...lately in my plays I've been defaulting to the N7 armour...so this makes me very happy :D

That detail is excellent, really gives the N7 logo and the places a around joins lot more depth.

Is there a way to edit the bonus's of the default N7 armor? I would use it more often if i could edit the stats.

Indeed there is...the coalesced.ini editor should manage that. Couldn't tell you what to look for though as never modded the armour myself.

Check out the mod thread though. Should be someone in there who can help you or point you to a prepared earlier one.

I have before, i know where the armor is located in the .ini file, but i dont see where i can change the bonus's. The modding thread only shows how to add armor like casuals, but not edit them.

Am I the only one that can't get Texmod to work?

Specifically, am I the only one that, when I select the ME executable within Texmod, add a texture, and click the run button instead of ME2 opening it just opens another instance of Texmod?

I mean, I'd love to take advantage of these texture packs but unfortunately texmod doesn't seem to like me.

I'm using the Steam version and have followed the directions for my version.

Anyone who might have encountered this problem could you let me know?

Are you sure you are choosing the proper executable (masseffect2bak, or whatever you called it), and not just the renamed TexMod?

It seems obvious, but it would match what you describe.

Man you guys are awesome; thanks for helping when I'm AFK :wizard:

On that note, I have copious amounts of free time both today and througout the upcoming week.  My current goal is to complete the N7 armor either late tonight or tomorrow morning before Portal 2 consumes my very existence.  I will be releasing screenshot updates tonight so stay tuned!

Here's a quick update:

Male Shepard is nearly complete; just some work to be done on the leg texture. Female Shepard is nearly done as well with the bulk of the remaining work on the leg and arms texture. Shouldn't be too long now.

Would it be best if I separated the male and female versions of the N7 armor?

Well, that's up to you. I have no idea about the mechanics of texture modding and .tpf files and how the games subsequently handles them. I doubt having them together would increase game loading times significantly, especially for those of us already loading several textures.

I tend to play femShep *almost* exclusively (I have one default Sheploo save that I'll finish someday), so the only one that really affects me is the femShep version.

However, for others who play both often enough and have multiple maleSheps and femSheps, it might be more convenient for them to have it all in one package, so they can just load it without thinking about which Shepard they want to play that time.

Anyway, whichever you prefer and whichever is easier for you. ^_^

Well, after a brief test I found that it's more efficient (and convenient for those that exclusively play one gender) to release separate files. So, without further ado, here is the male version of the N7 armor. The female version will be released this afternoon.

Waiting anxiously, and as always, I can't thank you enough for all of the awesome work you put into this project. :)

As I feared, Portal 2 consumed my very existence today

Working on the textures now, I'm expecting a release within the next few hours.

Good thing I have Portal 2 to hold me over. I'm waiting for the femShep release before continuing the ME2 run-throughs I've just recently started. ;)

I was only able to do a brief test but I spotted no issues.  If anyone sees something I overlooked, give a shout!

Thanks so much. :D

[edit] I've started playing with it, and I think it looks very nice. No issues I've seen so far.
